Pirate sounds like a shit name at first, I have to admit, but once you've been bandying it about for a few years it rolls off the tongue naturally.

I was trying to convince an old mate of mine that mephedrone was a "proper" drug in about 2009, meph was still legal. He's about the same age as me, spent his life doing pretty much the same sort of drugs as me, and he replied "Fuck that, I'll stick with the illegals thanks".

He's still never tried it :? , even though it IS illegal. Pirate had a lot of bad press when it used to be known as meow-meow, it's time to let people know that it is a "proper" drug in its own right.

It's not an E substitute, it's so much better.

I never did compliment you on that picture Dan, I love it, as much as the gay-star-trek-pirate-on-a-rainbow-unicorn one that you put up.
 
I've never said Pirate wasn't a proper drug - just that it's a shitey drug :D

Was really rather excited at the prospect of it when it first came onto the RC scene and was still very much one of those substances that only wanky-types who get all hot 'n' bothered everytime a new drug appears on obscure Chinese chemical supply sites. There really wasn't any negative press - nor any press at all outside of a few PD posts - at the time. No medical iffiness being flagged up or owt. What little info there was about it was uniformly positive. I added to that positive info after my first sampling. Second sample onwards was when I noticed all the physical iffiness and started to have me lil anti-meph rants cos no matter how I've approached it since the situation just never improved. Aside from one or two times on it that even I <3'd, I just don't like the stuff - especially how rough I feel on it and in the aftermath. When it's nice it is nice... it's just that it's so rarely that nice the side-effects just ain't worth it for me.

Still remember very fondly my first ever order of mephedrone in January 2009, one gram of drone, one of M1 and one of 4-FA.

Started bombing the methylone and then having lines of drone on top. Just me on my own in front of the computer with the headphones on. The euphoria was tangible, I could cut it with a knife and put it between two slices of bread. Ended up negotiating my way through all the drone and M1 from friday afternoon to saturday morning. So fucked up, yet couldn't stop and kept on going until I was out. Ended up wisely bringing the 4-FA into work on the monday to dab throughout the day. That became my weekly order, one gram each of drone and M1 for the weekends, one gram of 4-FA to see me through the week. That was before I even joined here, spent a fortune on that and it definately didn't do me any good health wise.

Still, I miss those days<3
 
I've always ever known Meph to be called Pirate, and ever since I fired me first broadsides up each nostril, my Jolly Roget has been hoisted and I've been sailing the seas from then on. Some bomb it, others podger, but I love the way it makes me go ARRR, decent Meph is magic, the only problems are its insanely moreish and you develop a tolerance pretty quickly, thanks MM for starting this thread, arrrrrrr
