so there's not much difference in structure you mean ? I have tried both ethyl and methyl, the main differnce IMO is that methylphenidate is a lot stronger, due to tolerance issues its hard to say exactly, but id say it's between 5 and 10 times stronger. Ive allso allways stuck to lowish doses of methyl, never exceeded 20mg, whereas ive taken over 100mg of ethyl IIRC. They have very simillar effects, on libido, music enhancement, confidence, functionality (though thats very dose dependant) wakefulness/insomnia/one dose taken too late will keep you awake all night long. Perhaps Methyl feels a bit 'cleaner' but that may only be because i allways kept to relatively low doses.
But i take it you are saying that etaqualone is shit compared to methaqualone, which most of us never got to try, as it was before our time, or not available outside of South Africa ?
From wiki: Methaqualone is a depressant that increases the activity of the GABA receptors in the brain and nervous system. When GABA activity is increased, blood pressure drops and the breathing and pulse rates slow, leading to a state of deep relaxation. These properties explain why methaqualone was originally mainly prescribed for insomnia,[8] most commonly in 300 mg dosage.
Methaqualone peaks in the bloodstream within several hours, its effects generally lasting four to eight hours. Regular users build up a physical tolerance, requiring larger doses for the same effect. Overdose can lead to nervous system shut down, coma and death.[9]
At least the proper stuff has a decent duration. 45 minutes or so makes it barely worth bothering with IMO.
