EADD Music Production Thread: Side B

I might start creating all of my bass sounds by processing vocals. In the studio today I recorded my mate making weird noises and processed it. Ended up being probably the best bass sound I've ever made. Pretty pleased. :D

Never mind that, what happened with your bumbaclaat korg? A sick synthesizer is like a wounded animal crying out to me.

I decided there now to actually have another whack at it. I attempted a Global Reset. Oddly it sent it into test mode, which I thought was a button combination, but anyway, got a MIDI warning message (yet to google it), and turned it off and on, once the warning had gone. It gave me a different loading screen, but it worked!
Cheesy old digital synth sounds, how I love thee. <3

HURRAH! I'm glad. I wonder if there's a stuck button which is making it think that something's being held down. Anyway, I can sleep easy now. Enjoy!

I love this machine, it actually sounds pretty great, I could definitely use this and process away at the sounds!
Stuck button causing the MIDI warning, do you mean?

Sorry, misread your post and thought you were permanently in test mode, which could have been explained by sticky buttons.

Haha, yeah, I've seen that video. I love Noisia. :D

Did you see they had a feature in Future Music just there?
I don't usually read Future Music, but I made an exception for it. Turns out it was basically exactly as I, and many others suspected. Still nice to read it in magazine form. :D
They've said before though, they'll just give hints and tips, of course they won't share secrets/walk people right through one of their sounds. They want people to find their wn sounds themselves with given tips, etc.

Although, now I see the advantages of using Toontrack's Superior Drummer, as opposed to the usual Audio Track chopping I do. Might invest in it soon, actually. :D

Someone here has to understand speaker specifications etc? Anyone mind a PM?

Can anyone point me in the direction of any underground deep house, tech house or techno soundcloud profiles please

Yo Jancrow!

Planet SR388

Been trying lots of things out on yer synth. Added some percussion on Reason for that one, but the rest is pure analogue fun.

Yeah, you do pretty much, you might be best off copying a plain organ-sounding patch from somewhere which will likely be a square wave with little modification, so you'll have less button pressing to get it to a fairly neutral state from which to start. TBH you may as well just eliminate said organ patch because that's what organs are for, not synths :)
