Resident evil franchise - the only 3 2hour movies ive watched in under an hour. Couldnt be bothered with the next couple...

Seriously i so not understand why they keep making them

I like mindless action too but everything on RE was done better before with bigger bangs and everything. First one was ok, but went down fast after that imo.
Heck, crank is better in the mindless action dept.

Speaking of mindless movie, anyone lost hours of life on gamer? The one woth geralad butler?

Sorry - Bodda, Foolsgold - the new Tyson documentary/movie is really good. It has a lot of the clips shown in the previous film (in Bodda's post) but he is narrating the full thing. Starts off talking about his family, growing up on the streets - just him on stage under the spotlight in front of an audience.

Strange to see him doing almost a stand up routine one second then filling up when talking about when his daughter died.

Easy money

I loved the resident evil games. but the movies are shit

The first Resident Evil game on the Playstation was outstanding.
Totally groundbreaking at the time.

Walking down the dark hallway and the dogs come smashing through the windows.
Proper shit your pants stuff :D

Yeah was wicked. loved the 3rd as well, that nemesis fucker used to scare me a bit

not normally the type of film i would usually have any time for but was in a film watching marathon sesh in a mates gaff and he assured me it was a tripping friendly type of film.
it was suprisingly good had a magical atmosphere which complemented the trip was quite good story.

EVIL DEAD 2013 (remake)

I watched this one while on meph was a fan of the 80's original. Not sure i liked it they just seemed to be trying to out do and top previous horror films including the original and the saw films.
I watched it again a few days later when i was 100% sober and non edgy from meph still wasnt impressed it seemed to lack the dark humour of the original.

got in on dvd not so long ago total shit i thought

@foolsgold

I wouldnt say it was completely shit i watched it on a large screen with 5.1 surround sound blasting down the walls to get the full effect so had it moments but was a let down.
the original is 1000% better.
Am looking foward to seeing the new Carrie remake in the cinema hope they dont fuck it up like they did with evil dead.

@ acieed_ed think that will be the same seen some trailers and doesn't look to great

well just watch all superheroes must die what a waste of a film could of been good ended up cliché and boring in the end res evil next

Just finished d/l the Pusher trilogy but i think ill leave it untill 2morrow before i start on them. Watched the uk remake recently which was fairly bland (amazing soundtrack tho) but I'm really looking forward to these as Ive heard lots of good things. im a massive fan of nicolas winding refn and mads mikkelsen (i fucking love valhalla rising)

Dredd is quality. Seen it a couple of time now - I never read the comic so dont know how faithfull it is but from what I can gather its in a different world to the danny cannon / stallone version (ive never seen it nor do I want to). Loved the fact that they made it adult and violent - brave move considering the box office monies it must havelost because of the 18 rating (I dont think it did very well, theres no sequel on the cards). Reminded me alot of verhovens robocop in content and style and the slow mo sequences will mark it as a druggie classic

'Its all the deep end eughhhh'

Ah right, started watching it last night, about 40 mins in so far

Might watch there will be blood later, good film that
