just watched paul fucking brilliant film :)

Saw that was on the telly the other night but didn't watch it because I can't stand watching films with ad breaks. If it's good I might have to acquire myself an ad free copy to watch.

Re-watched Twelve Angry Men last night - I'd forgotten how good it is. Anyone who hasn't seen it should get it immediately, one of the best films out there for sure.

Also, is The Place Beyond the Pines worth watching? (for any reason other than Gosling & Cooper I mean? Sorry, I had to =D)
Heard of "Twelve Angry Men" but never watched it - Shall give it a go ;)
I really enjoyed "The Place Beyond the Pines", I've enjoyed most films with Gosling & Cooper in actually too, but for different reasons I'm assuming Pagey =D
Plus - Mike Patton did the soundtrack and he's a legend: His scores were fantastic and it was nice to hear something a bit more modern from him instead of Mr. Bungle etc. :D

You seen the Scratch documentary? love it
That's a classic documentary - Sort of the "Wild Style" of the more modern generations :)
hanna is a good movie. loved the music thugh, but im a sucker for the chemical brothers. and saoirse ronan....
Good movie....? Just good?
It's fuckin quality! But I'm with you 100% for The Chem Bros and Miss Ronan %)

just watched paul fucking brilliant film :)
I love how it was likely the biggest film Pegg and Frost pulled off together but it didn't end up being that-proper-bigtime-Hollywood-cliché bollocks :) Brilliant film!

I don't know why, but I ended up with "Heathers" in my head when I woke up a few days ago and found out again that it was a brilliant flick %)

Re-watched Denzel Washington in 'Man on Fire' last night.

Its ten years old but does not look dated, i had seen it before but could not remember it, so was like watching it for the first time. What a fuckin brilliant film, so absorbing. I cant remember the last time i got so into a film.

Ex CIA assasin, turned alcaholic, takes a job as a bodyguard, and is redeemed by his relationship with a wealthy little girl he is protecting from the criminal gangs and corrupt police in Mexico city who organise kidnappings for ransoms at the rate of one per hour !!

Any one who is easily moved by films, like me, im a right soppy twat, will need a box of hankies to keep drying their eyes.

World War Z was pretty baws. I've still to watch The Place Beyond The Pines, I'll get round to it eventually. Watched This Is The End the other day, not too bad as long as you're going into it expecting something pretty shite but entertaining.

Gonna go see Filth on Saturday I think. Looks excellent. The book is fucking brilliant, so it'll be interesting to see how they've translated that to a film. Fuck knows how, if at all, they're going to do the tapeworm lol. Plus, I want to see Billy Elliot sniffing ching.

PTC have you seen the honest trailer for World War Z ? That place beyond the pines is a decent movie - I watched a strange one last night called +1 / Plus one - worth a watch just for the confusion alone :D.

I can really recommend 'Blue Caprice' though :)

why dont you record the films, and then fast forward through the ads ?

I would if I had an aerial in my flat (got a nice tvheadend server with dual hd tuners running in my server box which streams live and PVR'd tv to every device in the house). But sadly here I'm stuck with TVCatchup, iPlayer etc, and downloading stuff I want to watch.
