I read the link and it appears that the film must have been based on the Mount Washington, Kentucky incident.
Like I said though watch the film and anyone would think that this is totally unbelievable. No one would be stupid enough to believe that a policeman would ask them to do those things.
Surely you would question a strip search let alone a cavity search and having yr arse spanked and what cop would order oral sex to be given?
All in the name of a supposed theft. Their intelligence surely does require questioning indeed.
Good find on the link though as was interesting to read the background to the story of what the film was based on.
Sorry PTCH you were right mate, I thought it was too unreal to have really happened as portrayed in the film.

$6.1million is a nice amount of money, I should imagine that helped her get over what she went through.
I guess it just goes to prove that sometimes fact is indeed stranger than fiction.

Not sure If I was in here last night ? Watched that RIPD movie - it was alright (I got bored half way though). Not something I would pay for so glad I watched it at home - Men in black, ghost, Ghostbusters all in one.

Watching rocky ii on 5 usa or summat. That's how the maw and paw roll. But it's actually not a bad film, for what it is, not seen it since 198x.

1990-frankenhooker-poster1.jpg

'Frankenhooker'

Jeffrey is a mild manner Jersey electrician who has just lost his fiancee in a horrific lawnmower accident. He puts her back together with body parts from exploded hookers who are addicted to super crack. and it's still a better love story than Twilight.

Avoid: The Hills Have Eyes 2.

At least the first one involved normal people who got lost, in this one its a bunch of military people getting killed off. Like most horrors involving military they're a bunch of bumbling idiots.

Shockingly bad.

Shame, i really enjoyed the first Hills Have eyes (remake)

Tried watching that Tinker, Sailor....thing last night. My fuckin God what a slow, boring, overcomplicated non entity of a film. I already knew i didnt like John Le Carre over complicated spy "thiriller" plots, so i dunno why i bothered. It had a bit of atmosphere and looked good and John Hurt was in it, all of which held me for a little while. Eventually i thought why am i fuckin bothering, im really not enjoying this.

Re-watched Twelve Angry Men last night - I'd forgotten how good it is. Anyone who hasn't seen it should get it immediately, one of the best films out there for sure.

Also, is The Place Beyond the Pines worth watching? (for any reason other than Gosling & Cooper I mean? Sorry, I had to =D)

NSFW clips of course ....

So many good quotes in that !

"Chocolate Love !! "
" Do you have any Coke at this Party !!??"

Welcome to the 80's scene( love the single camera shot, amazing for a 26 yr old director)

Coltdan if those 2 clips dont make you watch "Boogie Nights"
Nothing will
