Perfume: The Story of a Murderer

There's prolly some more that I've not seen that are good on there too :)[/COLOR]

Perfume is quite a creepy movie (watched it a few times) - when he is sniffing the blind girl :0.

Ive watched so many movies not sure where to start -

Pacific Rim, great eye candy but boring as hell movie (typical generic movie)
Epic / Croods - great fun movies (for something to watch without having to think)
Iron Man 3 - really enjoyed it, pretty funny
Mud - Enjoyed this movie
Frankensteins Army - WTF, crazy movie, not really sure what its about as didn't finish it but the monsters are brilliant (in a stupid way)
The Colony - worth a watch for free but dont expect much
Battledogs - proper cheesy movie - shit CGI, over the top acting - great fun
Tunnelrats - Vietnamy movie but based underground, new take on the war and I enjoyed it but it's pretty slow
The Demented - generic zombie / teenage movie (good fun if you like awful Sci Fi movies)
Odd Thomas - really worth a watch

*Edit*

Forgot to mention - Byzantium Vampire movie but updated and worth a watch.

Watched Drillbit Taylor last night, pretty good for a film for 12 year old boys. Owen Wilson is great in everything though.

"Jason Becker should have been a household name. A guitar prodigy from a young age, Jason burst onto the scene with his band Cacophony, garnering notice from the major industry players. In 1991 Becker was hired as lead guitarist in David Lee Roth s band, the most coveted guitar gig at the time, but Jason never made it on tour.

Shortly after recording the album, he was diagnosed with ALS and given five years to live.

Archival footage of Jason s rise to almost-stardom is given the exposure it deserves with this inspiring rock doc. More than 20 years later, Jason is still living strong and making music by communicating with his eyes.

A true testament to the strength and possibility of the human spirit."

Three workers, Zeke, Jerry and Smokey, are working at a car plant and drinking their beers together. One night when they steal away from their wives to have some fun they get the idea to rob the local union's bureau safe. First they think it is a flop, because they get only 600 dollars out of it, but then Zeke realizes that they also have gotten some 'hot' material. They decide to blackmail their union. The best reason for that is the union itself. All three are provoked by the fact that the union claims to have lost 10,000 dollars by their robbery.

It's a great film, kept me engaged all the way though, despite some shallow scriptwriting, dodgy acting, piss-poor jokes and unrealistic plot turns. I fully recommend it despite it being shit in quite a few parts. I don't really understand why it's great but it is.

Very impressed with the new Dreadd film. loved it. they should use that guy on the new batman

Watched a strange one the other night - Adore.

Is 'chick flick' still allowed or non PC now ? If it is then its a chick flick - if not then its not and a cutesy lovey movie about relationships n stuff (two best friends grow up / get married / have sons and they each start shagging the other ones son).

Yeah chick flick is fine! Shagging your partner's son is a bit of a grey area though :D

Watched the great dick flick (let's get this term into common usage) The Deer Hunter last night. One thing I like about older films is the camera angles don't dart about every millisecond. The action scenes are watchable and you can see what's going on other than closeups of various whizzing body parts.

Rather than a movie recommendation this is a warning of what not to watch.
Under no circumstances waste yr time watching a film called 'Compliance'.
Supposedly based on a true story but the events that happen in it are totally unbelievable.
You have been warned.

^ I'm going to watch Dredd again. Awesome film.

That did happen. I've not seen the film to know how much they exaggerate but the basic premise is definitely a true story.

I've no doubt that some cases of social compliance happened over the phone but I find the events in the film beyond belief.
In short a man pretending to be a cop, calls a fast food place and tells the manageress one of her young female staff had stolen cash from a customer.
Over the space of the film and from just talking to various staff member down the phone he has the girl strip naked, asks about size of her nipples & if her muff is shaven or not.
Gets the managers husband to be to order her to do jumping jacks while still naked to see if any cash falls out of her. When none does the managers husband has to look up her minge for the cash then to put her over his knee & spank her arse a few times after which she is instructed to give him a blow job.
All of this happens because the fake cop told them to do it over the phone.
Pretty unbelievable hey?
