Is that still available on 4OD, Toucan?
I really wanted to catch that but who knows what happened to my brain :?

--- Edit ---

There are some really good flicks on iplayer right now:

Right At Your Door
Thriller. When a dirty bomb goes off in Los Angeles spreading chaos, jamming roads and causing a cloud of toxic dust, a couple find themselves separated by the quarantine. One of them is probably contaminated and they're running out of time.

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer
Film adaptation of the successful Patrick Suskind novel. Jean-Baptiste Grenouille, born an orphan in the stench of 18th-century Paris, possesses the extraordinary gift of a highly developed olfactory sense. Growing up in abject poverty, he becomes obsessed by the idea of possessing everything the world has to offer in the form of smell and eventually resolves to create the most sublime perfume - for which he will need to distill the scent of a young woman's body...
The Jackal
Violent action thriller about the FBI's attempts to catch a deadly master of disguise who a Russian mafia boss has hired to kill a top figure in the US government.

When conventional methods fail, the FBI enlists the help of a imprisoned IRA sniper, who has his own reasons for wanting to hunt down the assassin. Based on the novel by Frederick Forsyth.

There's prolly some more that I've not seen that are good on there too :)

Tis utterly brilliant! :D
I've not seen it probably since it came out 3 years ago but it stuck on my brain's "fucking brilliant" board ;)

I have been banging on about "Friday Night Lights" the tv show in the other thread so may as well mention the 2004 movie

classic

recently seen the wolverine. surprising good xmen film. also good was the girlfriend didnt mind tagging along. i guess a shirtless buff hugh jackman can do wonders.

and i was left somewhat unsatisfied by pacific rim. dont know why. probably because ive seen it in 3d and throught the movie couldnt help thinking that the3d wasnt needed, but a bit better actors were.

I'm unsure if I've seen this already in a drunken stupor and forgotten everything about it, but from the read if the synopsis it sounds really good :)
I'll give it a(nother) watch sometime :)

Hehehe - It doesn't surprise me that yer ladyfriend was alright with the 12-pack (or whatever he has) of Mr. Jackman =D
I've enjoyed all the X-Men flicks so far so it'll definitely be up my street. Infact I really rate Jackman as an actor :)

And aye, been wondering about this Pacific Rim. Looks a bit Power Rangers :D But I'm a sucker for flicks like that so I'll no doubt end up watching it when it's available "elsewhere" %)

I have yes - It's quite interesting and explores much more than what it says on the proverbial tin.
I'd definitely recommend you check it out Cornbwoi :)

p.s. For those who just watched 13 Assassins - How brilliant is that film.... I'm really glad that it'd been so long since I last saw it.
And I love the character Koyata Kiga and the concept that he's likely a Yōkai :D

Hanbei Kitou: Who are you? You're no samurai.
Koyata: So what? Do only samurai matter in this world? I thought samurai would be fun but you bore me. You're useless, even more useless in great numbers.

Watched 'Cloud Atlas' recently, thought it was terrible, didn't enjoy it at all.
Got 'The Place Beyond The Pines' with Ryan Gosling to watch today, hopefully it lives up to the trailer.

I saw Red on the tell the other night, it was a fantastic film, never even heard of it prior to watching it. Going to the cinema this week to see Red 2.

Got the "Beckett on Film" collection, watching Play just now, looks good!

This is excellent :) amazing

Watched a film called 'Wee Man',wasn't about a bloke pissing.
Was quite good if you like gangster films. It is based on a Glasgow villain called Paul Ferris and was a good story.
Ended up googling him and there was a lot more they could have included in the film about him, deffo an interesting bloke though.

Oh aye I got that book last year, read the first 10 pages then forgot about it. Not a judgement on the book at all, IIRC it's pretty good, I am just shit at sticking with most books lately.
