Last night I made the mistake of getting a 50cl bottle. I'm the sort of person who, when they starts drinking, doesn't know when to stop. But i'm going to have to sort this one out, when you get to that state you're a liability to all those around you.

so some of these get togethers do actually happen. Its always seemed impossible to me to get a load of drug users co-ordinated and organised (myself included) - like how long did it take people to organise a visit to shambles when he went missing and people were worried - 6 months ? I dont think the visit ever happened and shambles contacted someone to let them know he was ok.

or perhaps the meetings have all gone ahead and no ones let me know. I would like to meet the regulars on this forum, although we are only virtual friends i still feel some kind of bond.

Ive been badgering you for months about that, but given up as dont want to appear desperate Theres at least 6 Mancs or Greater Mancunians on EADD. Its true that in person we may 'rub each other up the wrong way' ahem, but i doubt that. I generally get along just fine with everyone that i like.

I like the sound of a Manc meet up. Of course non residents would also be welcome too. Got loads of free floorspace, spare bed, sofa, for people who might want to stay the night. Some people seem to think im some kind of monster or something, i am not, i am very far from that, i wont be slipping rohypnol in all your drinks lol

this is what annoys me, even though i believe you said that in good humour, there is a general feeling of distrust about drug users even amongst drug users. Just cos people use drugs it doesnt mean they arent decent people.

Of course some drug users that go out mugging and burgling stuff in their desperation for their next fix, help fuel this fire. But it seems to me most people on here arent into anything like that level of desperation/criminality. Of course, if they were, they wouldnt be openly posting about it anyway.

I met a fucked-up lunatic off this site, who happened to be (allegedly, biologically) female. Just one of those people whom your intuition tells you is a wrong 'un. Though she was pleasant enough first time around.

Never been to Manchester, was considering going to warehouse project earlier in the year but definately not now, it's nothing like Newcastle which I only seen students having fun with £1 trebles and homeless being ignored by the masses, is it?

its simillar to Newcastle, a largely working class rough and tough city, that gets flooded by students during term time. Ive been to Newcastle twice and it struck me as more wild and anarchic than Manchester. Main shopping center windows smashed in on a standard friday night, couples yelling at each other, abandonded wallets all over the place. The bouncers there are psychos too, i went to see The Pogues in City Hall and tried to rush to the front in my excitement, the bouncer rammed me back into me seat with very excessive force.

The students in manchester get their cheap drinks, i dunno about how the homeless fair, ive seen the mobile soup kitchens in the city centre, but their poilysterene cups are always empty when ive dropped a couple of quid into them. They probably immediately pocket the cash sos to look more desperate and that no cunt swipes a cup full of £1 coins away from the poor tired aching junkies mostly.
