Gabon first. 4 weeks on/4weeks off, dunno how long that'll last, then angola and libya.

*excited but shitting myself* 8o

ENjoy working for your emotionless multinational raping poor african countries out of their precious natural resources.

(congratulations)

congrats felix <3

i am looking for a job but i seem to be horribly underqualified for anything that isn't factory work/bloody morrisons again

lol. thanks mate. ;)

i don't think any of these countries are 'poor' though?

fuck knows actually. got a lot of studying to do.

Angola is so wealthy its just like Switzerland. :)

And you can't drink booze in Libya :(

Oh actually I have some job news too, I have just been given an ongoing contract at Leeds General Infirmiry. Just audio typing but it'll do for helping me pay off my studenty overdraft =)

i'll make sure my bank feels suitably guilty about it all, next time they want my mortgage payment. ;)

cunts, eh?

p.s. well done vibbel :D

The countries are far from poor. The people, however, are far from rich :\.

Hahhaa, that is rather true.

Be careful with the ladies out there, Felix. I saw a program on Swaziland the other day, and 40% of the people there have HIV. That's nuts.

Certainly not.

His new job is 'rig cum bucket' anyway so he'll be too tired and worn out after all the big riggers have had their way with him. ;)

Angola is a pretty fucked up country - watch your back.

Obey the rules in Libya and all will be fine. The people are incredibly generous and forthcoming and there are some amazing sights to see there...

HIV/AIDS in Gabon

Population, 2007 1,300,000
People living with HIV/AIDS, 2005 60,000
Women (aged 15+) with HIV/AIDS, 2005 33,000
Children with HIV/AIDS, 2005 3,900
Adult HIV prevalence (%), 2005 7.9
New HIV infections, 2005 nd
AIDS deaths, 2005 4,700

well, i'll just stick to the under 15s then. ;)

You're not going to be shagging any locals while you work on the rig so it's no problem.

It will only possibly be an issue if you go exploring on your 4 weeks off. Do you think you will?
