I'm hopefully going to be doing a couple of part time evening college courses in photgraphy and spanish. Got the applications here just need to fill them out.

Spanish is a good language to learn. Far better than the shite they taught us at school. German? What's the point? There's one country that speaks German and nobody goes there. At least wi Spanish you can go all over the place and converse.

I just really want to learn it for my own sakes but it may well be useful in the future especially when I visit South and Central America.

German is a random language to learn at school. At least some other places speak French so that's kinda justified but German has no place. I hated languages at school but I'd love to know one now.

Your college course funded by SAAS?

I get my course fee's paid for and that's it. Don't even get my travel expenses paid for.

I think it's cos the last time I was at college I took the maximum amount available and then dropped out the course.

So I'm going to get a part-time job.

I did an HNC in Social Science which was utter pish.

Just got offered the job I want. The one I have to get vetted for.
Apparently it's not as strict as I was worried about, but is still the final hurdle.

Will have to start looking for somewhere to live now.

First thing the job seekers people found was 15-17k per year + commission, 30 minute cycle away, call centre/sales in a martial arts place lol

At least I've got this as an option I can start immediately.. going to do some more specific searching now

So eDDe have you got the job or just applying for it? Telesales isn't something I'd like to do, hard as fuck from what I hear.

I've spent last few hours gathering more contact details of events / entertainment companies in Edinburgh. Once I've gathered all them (there are literally hundreds ranging from being in music, sport, art, comedy etc etc etc) I'll write up some generic letter, modify a bit depending on what type of company it is and send it out to them to see if there's any paid / voluntary work going.

Not got the job, but the job has been up for 2 weeks and they're looking for people to start immediately.. so should be able to get it easy enough as they're not asking for experience and haven't filled the vacancies in 2 weeks

You'll find call centres will always seem to be permanently advertising.

They constantly recruit, especially telesales jobs as staff turnover is very very high. People either quit or get sacked if they're not meeting targets.

Aye true was the same in the call centre I worked in. Always new staff. I couldn''t do the telesales shit like, sounds awful.
