woah. a recruiter has just phoned to see if i would be interested in a job. it would be working six weeks on and two weeks off, based in germany, libya, gabon, and angola, both onshore and offshore. the job itself sounds ideal for my background.
he sounded pretty keen on me (no not that way
) but they want someone to start almost immediately. i have a job interview tomorrow (for that job i've been banging on about for ages, which i really want) and then i go offshore for 3 weeks on friday.
this has really thrown a spanner in the works. insane money with all food & accomodation & expenses paid, but i'm not sure if i'm cut out to work away from home for so long.
i should go and see them, definitely. but if it all went well, should i work the 3 weeker offshore? it's pretty late to back out of that now, i would feel like a right arse. fuck.
