Workplaces are usually less equitable if people are reluctant to be open about their pay. The more people talk about it, the less likely the employer is to get away with keeping a silent disparity between wages.
 
Probably a fair point. I've not really given it much thought.
To be honest, apart from supermarket type jobs, I've never been in a situation where I was actually doing the same job as anybody else. Everybody was known to have different skills, tasks were different, start times were different and ages were reasonably varied.

I don't know how much salaries varied, but when I joined one company, they'd literally just been bought by Emap, so the potential for raises went from non-existent to very likely overnight.
 
Got a new job last week. Worked 15 hours a day for each of the last seven days and now I am fucked tired. Going to have a PS and weed session to ease me back to reality:)

What's the job?

It's bar/waiter/stockman/dogsbody at a sports stadium in London. There was a big event all last week. Today is my first day off in an age.

I don't want to name the venue here like.
 
Yeah I was going to do that and then note down the answers but I was also going to take notes of what I wanted to say when they ask me the gay shit like "Tell me about a time when you've blah blah blah..."

Would that be ok or just look like I've made it up.
