I hope you're applying brimz. I remember when you first started posting, its been interesting watching you integrate. Sometimes you'd want attention, sometimes you'd sulk, but you soon got the hang of how it works and no one networks quite like you ;) You're a bright spark and a mover & shaker thats for sure.

PTCH would be the 1st to piss himself at the thought of him applying to be mod :D

I feel that given a Position - Moderator, i would have to loose all my spontaneous Rants ,( you like them ) & then it becomes a Job & i end up hating it , n never being the same brimz you have been stalking since i joined ;)
 
Brimz you be would ace as a mod

I was also thinking that gael garcia would be a good brimz if they ever made a movie, if you ever saw him in rudo y cursi you would know why

actually diego luna would be just as good a brimz in a movie

You get to see reported posts, infraction histories, exclusive staff-only forums, modthreads, and yes, you can see what any user is doing at any instant. You can move, merge, close and edit threads. You can issue warnings and infractions. The best bit, though, is the sourcing thread.

Yes you do. At least you used to. When I first joined there was a page available where you could see who was reading what thread, in any forum, at that particular time. I used this page as a good guide for finding interesting threads. Then one day I mentioned it casually and the admin went ape shit, having not realized that this page was accessible by any Bluelighter.

So they shut down access.

100% true story.

Board has changed in design, maybe that page doesn't exist anymore. But I wouldn't be surprised if it does and it's stupid that only mods can check it. That page used to lead me all over Bluelight.

Ooh you also get to see UAd posts, and to UA your own posts, so any thread can have an additional textual dimension visible only to other staff.

I have said, before I was a mod, and in this thread that I think members should have a much greater input than they do (currently zero input) in choosing a mod.

Their applications should go on a thread for other members to read. And mock.

seeing people's deleted posts, and previous versions of posts they've edited is a laugh sometimes too...

specially those people who make 4 or 5 edits.... =D
