But in the Broomfield documentary he bangs on about how his poor mom had to work multiple shifts etc just so that her precious kid could go to such a prestigious school. I havent seen it for ages, not sure if he mentioned a scholarship or anything.

I know a lot of people love Biggie but his music never resonated with me, then again I am biased as I love all west coast stuff with the exception of SOME ec like Tribe and Schoolly D
 
who knows. movies exaggerate the facts all the time. rap pretty much is a synonym for exaggeration. do i find it impossible to believe he may have been dealing with holdalls full of cash at some point... well no, i dont. bricks of cocaine at that time were being bought around 14k on the west coast and sold for 25 or so on the east. even if he'd been just working for someone flipping the odd kilo here and there - youd wouldnt be surprised if large sums of cash were changing hands at various points in time

ive never sold crack in my life, yet ive held in my hands and broke licks off ounces of it at a time. id imagine the same principle of through association acquirement holds

I agree. Actually, he really comes across as one of those fuckers who always think they're worse done by than they actually are. I guess a rags-to-riches story is far less impressive if the rags are actually nice new garments. He is, however, a skilled and brutal wordsmith who shits all over Pac, in my opinion.

Snoops career became a parody as it went along.

I always suspected the guy was a turncoat but then I saw proof

He said he Grew up in LB and as a Raiders fan, ( In fact he appeared in some Raiders documentaries made by ESPN)

Few years later he morphs into a Steelers fan !!!
