EADD Heroin thread v.XXV -- a quarter centuary of threads if not yet a full decade since the 'drought'...

Has anyone ever seen H where the beetle when it cools and goes hard looks cloudy and taste nasty as fuck, am assured if injected it is pretty strong. But I smoke got a Q before Xmas they where off till 2 days ago promised it was different. It was solid originally but now its broken down, I feel like other stuff has been mixed through but the taste and the way it runs is still fucked up. Trying to cover loses by adding more H to it hoping to mask it but it is that bad, you can't.

The guys am dealing with don't take it so all their doing is ruining what might be at least decent stuff by mixing it through this horrible tasting stuff, cut your loses & get rid of it.

But yeah .... when the beetle cools it goes cloudy looking?

There used to be something we called 'scabby gear' back in the day that formed a cloudy crust on the beetle when it cooled. Despite the appearance, it was usually quality gear. I don't know if this is a thing anymore because I'm well out of the loop. Just saying that appearances can be deceptive.

But who knows, it could be absolutely anything mate...

It is quite strong for pinners, but that's not my method am a smoker. I get people who sell don't always take gear but they'll usually get a pinner to try & if it's good for them it's 'good' gear. I have tried telling em, best get smokers to try because if its good for them it's good for pinners, not always the other way round... purity% is kinda high, there mixing more standard/good kit through it trying to drown the taste/the way it goes but just wasting more brown. Give up & get other stuff. Stop trying to put it out to resellers, as I deal with more smokers than pinners. The horrendous taste isn't going to go away. Cut your loses & start again. Just the way it is, is nothing like av seen in 12 year of using & selling. Its nasty as fuck.... like av said never seen beetle go cloudy once dried. Which to me I have never seen that before. Its clearly the bash, time they just moved on.

Unfortunately because it still sells then you're probably stuck with it... They don't give a fuck.
I remember when I used every time I'd hear it's lovely brown (every single time) my spirits would soar, only to be gutted when it was the same old shite.

I don't think so. An IV injection has nothing but results to expect. Smokers care about flavour, about how it runs, about colours....
Caffeine, ciclofaline, paracetamol, glucosa...
all are there to try and give smokers what they fancy.
IV injection of heroin allways tell you if it is what it should be or it is not.

Back in the day we had, here and there, white heroin from Barcelona. Good gear, not fire but better than average brown. Well, more than a batch had problems to be sold cause smokers didn't like it. "It doesn't run, bro!".... those batches became more and more rare to find and eventually they weren't seen anymore.

The only quality parameter for H is purity, not colour, flavour, smell... an IV injection won't allow doubts to be had about purity, sadly it can allow other shit to happen, tho

Was meaning more on stretgh, if it gets you smashed off a few lines on foil it is gonna be good to inject. You can tell how good gear is by how it is by smoking. You know by taste how it runs etc. Also probably more smokers out there, definitely more smokers who can still hold down jobs etc ...

That's a big truth.
Eventually almost every addict will find it hard to hold if they don't quit or seek maintenance,no matter roa.
But still, even if a smoker gets his/her life ruined, at least her/his health will be better than a injector's one in 90% of cases

Neither ROA is 'healthier' than the other. Having said that, my veins are fucked, but at least i haven't got COPD.

Oh, sure, after a few lines you know what kind of stuff you have.
My point was more about the nature of the smoking act itself.
While needle is indeed a ritual, I found smoking more conditionating as it provides more addiction reinforcing parameters like smell and flavour, and that's the only reason I find for people to keep wasting their opium by smoking it.
The difference between oral and smoked opium is bigger, potency and specially duration wise, than that between smoked and IV heroin, at least IME, but somehow smoking opium is so appealing, even on fucking foil, that people love to do it. Let alone if you were to have proper skills and smoking devices, an iranian vafoor or a far-eastern pipe or whatever.
That's why I find IV use to be more "objetive' in a way, if that makes any sense

Indeed. I remember when I had a full time smoking habit. When I switched over to IV my lungs cleared marvellously ! But as you say, both routes have their risks. Probably the least harmful is plugging but so many straight guys feel very uncomfortable about this route. Never had a problem with it personally.

Damn !! Heroin No 4 being ditched because you cant't smoke it. That's a tragedy. Oddly enough, the only time I've had white gear was in Cambodia and I found that I could chase it. Ironically at this time I wasn't an injector. In Holland a few people get diamorphine base prescribed for chasing and it has caffeine added to help it run.

Or meeting an ilegal booze dealer, in a dark alley, to see him taking a shot glass out of his arsehole to serve the cunt some dodgy drink in it.

Sure not, Login. I Would be happy to try your ilegal booze, but that's cause you are a proud producer who probably does his best to obtain the finest product he can.
But if you were in it for profit and wanted to serve several dozens of customers during weeks/ months out of your production, by adulterating it AF and then carrying it on test tubes, holding them into private and dark places of yours to avoid prohibition related issues...then yes, I would see something very dodgy in it.
Because prohibition, being a primitive behaviour, is a highway to other primitive behaviours.
