EADD Heroin thread v.XXV -- a quarter centuary of threads if not yet a full decade since the 'drought'...

It doesn't take a genius to know it comes via the Balkans, the Russian "Mafia" & International Cartels who run this stuff are all linked together.
It may slow up a bit but the streets would fill with dead bodies if it really stopped, too many people who do really bad stuff need the supply to carry on as it's how they eat.

Try taking Lamb Chops from a pack of Wolves & see what happens to you ;)

TBH I don't question this.
Fancy being my security when I finally visit Mexico? I need someone with access to script only drugs so I can "deal with" pesky bandits & Narcos who would wanna kill me. Slipping some pure Fentanyl or Chloral hydrate will be of extreme use ;)
 
7 years clean today boys. To all yous still on that shit, life is so much better once you get clean. It might take months, or years in my case to feel alright again. But its worth it. Was on 4 bags a day from 06 to 15, mostly smoking, but banging the odd time. A bit of rock was also in the mix

I thought I'd be stuck in that rut for life, me and the misses moved to the other side of the country so I wouldn't be able to score

Best decision I ever made

Just checking in, all the best to yous. If yous want any tips on staying clean just give us a shout

Oh and has anyone heard from Ructions? She's the bird from Dublin that used to post back in '10 and last I heard she got bashed in with a hammer. Anyone hear anything or if she's alright?

This is what gets me with people who get clean, they always take this Protestantism-Puritanism kind of view upon it.

You call it "shit" well it sure wasn't "shit" to you for so long, I swear you lot make me wanna puke, I Salute @blondin with all my Soul as when he got clean he never came out with this attitude.

Next you'll be saying it was Jesus who saved you!!!!

Good to hear FEDOR85 keep it up and while everyone's story is different your voice will always be valuable for those that want to change -anyhoo - although I have not interacted with her for a couple of years I have Ructions as a friend on Facebook and while I can only speak in a general sense she seems as fine as can be and well away from drug use. This is of course why it would be counterproductive for me to get in touch with her - I still use and could provide any amount of triggers.

i didn't get a puritanical tone at all.

i am willing to bet at least 10p that you have, at least once in your life, said 'this shits good.'

well done @FEDOR85 - i got clean in 2018 but have had 3 lapses since then and drink too much. but its progress either way. it does take quite a long time to feel good once you get clean but it really is so much better.

Well done mate, I'm the same way as well. I enjoy me pints of Guinness a bit too much! 3 lapses is nothing in the space of 4 years bud, thats nothing, the main thing is it doesn't spiral out of control. Delighted to see you're doing well

As for Zopiclone Bandit, it seems to me he's still in the throes of addiction so I'll let the lad off

As for being a Protestant/Puritan...far from it. Dont believe in anything but was born a Catholic like most of us Irish, not that it matters

I won't open me mouth to him again cos he seems like the sensitive type. As was I when I used, so cant fault the young fella

If u wanna make drug tourism, México ain't the country for that. Either Colombia or Perú are cheaper and have the best stuff around.

mad respect if you can do that and actually come back.

no way i could. especially after discovering the other week that i can still smoke crack like a fiend if i don't watch myself.

i'd love to go travelling, i've been to some cool places. if i don't get pregnant by august i'm consoling myself by going to tajikistan and uzbekistan.
