So Erin vs Aaron... Teresa vs Theresa... Emily vs Emilee ... there is a "right" and a "wrong" ? Personally if a mother has a child and names it, raises them pronouncing their name a certain way... they say, "hello, my name is____" ... that's what I'm going to go by. It's subjective because it's their name. If I meet Aaron but they say Hi my name is EH-Rin. I'm not going to say hey Aa-Run, how was your day Aa-Run. I'm just going to conform to what they tell me. That may not be the best example but hopefully you get my point.

And yes...mum...chrysanthemum...

for the first time ever i'm glad my high school friend ERIN died of an aneurysm at 19 so she didn't have to witness the besmirching of her good name.

i think i might just be an arsehole (not asshole) cos if i ever meet someone who pronounces their name 'creg' i am not going to be able to say that, it is 'crayg.' i also pronounced my boyfs name wrong for the first few weeks after meeting him cos its an uncommon one, and found out i'd been whitewashing one of my best mates names for 13 years and am going to continue pronouncing it the same on account of he'd have dumped me as a friend by now if he was bothered. so yeah, turns out i'm just a tit.

Kraygh, gotcha. Americans and their words haha. I hate how they call football, soccer....that is indeed an atrocity. Especially cause their football has more to do with hands than feet ⚽️. 🤭
 
Does any1 think there will be heroin drought coming soon? Because of the russian/ ukraine war sitaution? Its very possible, some heroin supply routes will be cut off from coming into western europe. This has happened before in the past. Where heroin drought last for 4 years due to ww2

It's a good question. I think the disruption would be greater in Eastern Europe, though. IIRC, the biggest shipments of heroin come to Western Europe by sea, especially through the ports of Southampton + Antwerpen & Rotterdam.

The WW2 heroin drought really started in 1937 when Japan attacked China, since that's where the bulk of the black-market product originated by the mid '30s. (After the League of Nations clamped down on diverted German/Swiss pharma heroin in the late '20s, and after Turkey & Bulgaria were persuaded to clamp down on their illicit producers in the early '30s.)

At this point, the Russia-Ukraine conflict doesn't seem like it will isolate Afghanistan from global trade routes the way WW2 isolated China. But who knows how it will develop...

Most comes in from felixstow, liverpool and Bristol Via overland from the Balkans...or so Im told
 
Yesterday i spoke to 2 ukraine guys about the war sitaution and drugs sitatution as well they were sayin heroin and cannibas has got harder to source in eastern and south of ukraine since 2014. Since crimea was annexned into russia. That was interesting. Make me wonder, if berlaus had or will go in to ukraine war then ww3 will happen so i wanna get ready to cut down drugs use but im on 70mills methadone. Fuck, its impossible to cut down too fast say 6months right? Because im telling u this cos uk get methadone from abroad mostly germany so if ww3 came on europe soil so germany wil be cut off as well from supply methadone to uk and we will be FUCKED in big way. So i have no idea what im gonna do if that happened?

Without being able to actually speak for them I am sure the moderators would be ok with this, drug porn being a relatively popular form of content both here and on similar sights and forums. Universal considerations for this sort of thing generally revolve around only posting images of small / personal amounts of material and of course taking care to make sure the image does not include anything, either visible or within the metadata, that could identify you, the location, the source of the drugs or anything else you would rather not share on a public forum.

The proper Black Country old folks would, it would be spoken as "Creg" by the old-timers.
