True, but where opiates are involved, common sense becomes a bit elusive :(
 
Yup i appreciate the solid advice i get on here, and i wasn't expecting anything at all from it tbh, even a small opiate blanket surprised me (surprised and frustrated lol)

What dose do i need to taper to to be able to miss a day and get half decent effects? most people have said around 2mg

so i have some morphgesic 10mg sr tablets, waxy lil fuckers ! now how will i go about gettting a buzz off these? for a non tolerant user (have had 2mg of clonazepam about half hour ago) but a high tolerance too benzos in general. Can i crush these buggers up and get rid of the extended release? dont know what the fuck im doing, guessing crushing and swallowing best way too go? any advice appreciated
 
The proper way would be to crush it up, dissolve in dilute acid (citric acid powder is fine) adding a little more concentrated acid at a time until no more will dissolve, filter and keep the liquid; then neutralise the acid with an alkali (bicarbonate of soda will do, and it doesn't even need an indicator as it will give off carbon dioxide gas as long as there is any acid left to react with), add excess alkali until no more precipitate forms, filter and discard the liquid; and the solid will be the freebase form of the original drug (at a guess, based on the name, morphine).

But that's all theory. I've never even heard of morphgesic tablets before now (although a quick Google search reveals that it is indeed morphine, as morphine sulphate).

Subs really do seem like the best way to get off gear that I've seen, the person I know that's on them has been having trouble the past few days with them as they haven't been working apparently and the doc can't figure out why besides maybe different brands but still that doesn't make much sense, they said they won't up his dose which is 8mg, wonder what it could be?

Again there's still lovely stuff about here, beige powder with some in wee rocks, very strong taste from it too, numbs the head and rests nicely behind the eyes
Still wanna know what that oily shit is? It's weird for a powder to be as damp as this stuff is, first time I seen it I really thought it was hash they'd gotten

I had that hash like gear a few years ago just before drought proper. I thought it might be black tar but probably not. From what I remember it was decent pre drought. Once you got it running it smoked like regular gear. I didn't iv at the time so can't comment on rush or speculate on morphine/MAM content etc.

Anyway I'm staying away from the gear for a time. I'm almost 2 weeks off it now. Was feeling ropey from a week on the benzos as well. Feeling better today, reckon I'm on the upswing. I nearly caved yesterday and bought a script of D5s. I've been firing off CVs and had a few call backs but I can't work in this condition, so I figured a maintenance dose of 10-15mg diazepam/day would sort me out and I'd taper off when I'm ready.
At least I can sleep with 2 x 15mg zispin for the time being and I'm going to stock up on a few 200mg Lyrica if possible to use when necessary until this shit feeling goes away.

Sometimes I think reality just isn't what I thought it used to be.

I have some Morphgesic 60mg's
They are exactly the same as the MST's-slow release of which i have 30mg's and 100mg's
AFAIK there is no way to bypass the slow release
BUT I have never tried the method suggested
I use them for maintenance
I am scripted for Fent patches and IMO the best way to use them is to cut it into 2 or 4 and fold it so it is stickt side out and then keep it in your mouth between the cheek and the gum-no need to chew and try not to swallow saliva as it is best absorbed through your mouth
I also have some oxy 80mgs also slow release-but they don't flow my boat

sorta been stocking up because it seems to be pretty dry out there
my usual guy is paying much more than usual so is just selling bags and it's £10 for I reckon a .15
Is anyone else hearing of more drought?
(I don't believe the original drought ever went away)-Can't remember the last time I could buy weight and I have been using for about 18yrs so I know a fair few people
interested to hear what the rest of the country thinks
def a good time to get clean but then in the good old days(pre drought),,there was always a shortage about this time of year but it would only last a few weeks at most
 
Kind of sad with myself tbh, I did so well till today & I just cracked in & went to get back on the horse but I swear it's a one off thing, I am NOT going back onto it.

Stood in the pissing down rain & waited 20 mins but I am lucky in a way as all the good gear had vanished, as soon as I got back to my yard & opened it up, had a taste it's the same stuff that was around for several months, no lie it's the best quality since the dry spell a few years ago so atm I am all itch & scratch, wrapped up in the soft & warm OP8 love feeling I know & like so well.

For that short time I was off I began to drink which for me really isn't a good thing, but I made my woman a promise I would stay clean this time for my sake, her sake & her kids too & I can;t let her down. She told me she will walk away & never look back if I fuck it up this time.
It was the gear that broke us up in the first place & she crys on a regular basis over my use, she says I am a good guy but I let that stuff wreck my life, which in a way is true & she fucking HATES it.

I feel kinda bad if I am honest, I feel like I cheated her but a small toot won't hurt I guess.

Hope everyone is as good as you can be :)
 
Anybody heard from Pinky lately (last few days)? She seemed a little bit down last time I read one of her posts.

EDIT: And her PM box is full, so I can't check that way.

Pinky was about on FB i tink , new lads doing 10s of each not bad at all.

KKat i've managed to get sorta close to pre 2010 but the consistency isn't there n folk are more greedy cos they know what was sold in that period .

How is everyone on Bluelight? :) Hope you are all well?! I've been mad busy lately, so I haven't been posting on BL much. I'm back working again thank god! I hadn't had any work for about three months and I was completely broke. I got into so much debt in such a short amount of time. So, I'm glad to be able to pay off a few bills, rent etc. :)

I'm back in college now too, so I'm on the go seven days a week. I haven't had a day off in weeeeeeks! Ugh, its either a feast or a famine! 8( But I'm loving college and hopefully it will be all worth it in the end. I'm a bit old to be in college, but better late then never!

I haven't scored in about three weeks. All of the gear in Dublin is cut with benzo/rohypnol, so I can't get away with using gear one week and not using the second week anymore because the benzo is staying in my system much longer then the gear. My Doctor threatened to stop my take away script because my drug tests kept coming back positive for benzos. I'd hate to go back to daily pick ups, :( besides I'm so busy with work and college that I'd never make it back to the chemist on time every day to pick up my methadone. So I haven't scored in around 20 days!

Cravings are staring to get bad now, I'm so tempted to to score after the clinic this week. I can normally last two weeks without scoring without too much hassle, the drought taught me how to go without gear for long periods of time, (at least something goo came out of that poxey drought!) but once it goes past two weeks I start walking the walls, dying to score!

Its great to see this thread still going strong, who would have thought this thread would get to V18! :) Its a real nice community here on Bluelight! I've missed chatting to everyone on here. Its so weird to think that Cornishman won't be posting anymore, he was such a top bloke and a good friend.....

P.S Hi Julie! :) How are you? I hope your keeping well! Did you finish "Sick City?" Did you enjoy it? I thought it was a great book! Crazy story! I am currently reading a book called "Under My Skin" by Kate Holden. I really enjoyed it at the start, but the story has taken a bit of a dip the last two chapters. Hopefully it will get good again. It's a different kind of story to "Sick City," but still its quite good. Maybe the book hasn't taken a dip at all. It could be just me. Maybe I'm just too tired to read or maybe I'm reading too many books about heroin/addiction. So many maybe's. ;) Anyway, here is a link in-case you want to read it:

I'm not sure kat. I didn't want to speculate but I assume it was opiate related, accidental or otherwise I'm not sure.
