So that if you draw a line between Liverpool and Manchester on the map, and then draw another line through the centre point of the first line at 90 degrees to it, the second line will pass right through the middle of FUBAR's living room.

Proof: You can find the centre point of any line by (1) setting a pair of compasses at least as far apart as half the length of the line, (2) drawing short sections of arc above and below the midpoint, with the compass point on each end of the original line, (3) Joining the points where the two pairs of arcs meet. Now, this method will always find the centre point of the line, irrespective of how far apart you set the compasses, as long as it was more than half the length of the original line (otherwise, the two arcs would never even meet up). Meaning, any point that is the same distance from each end of the original line must lie somewhere on the line that runs through the midpoint of the original line, at 90 degrees to it.

Um. Anyway. I presume you have read The Ashton Manual?

Actually, I think the most important thing you need is a new displacement activity to displace the original displacement activity (i.e., taking drugs). Because even if it takes you years of tapering down, at the end of it you will not be in much different a situation than if you had simply quit the opiates cold turkey and tapered off the benzos over a fortnight. Learn to play an instrument, write, make models, dig the garden, paint, learn a language, exercise, whatever; but find something (and preferrably, something that you can do better while sober than while wrecked), just so as you can be sure you've got something else to do with your life besides taking drugs. Getting clean is actually going to be almost incidental then.

Thanks for your words guys , and i do take them on board, I have nearly died twice, and personally I feel like i can kick the smack, well for 99% of the time, benzos make me function. Needs to stop sooner or later. I get weight no problem , but finding the good ten bag man is harder but from one guy, if I wasn't out on liecaense I would have that covered for the time being, I didn't bother with kit , took 50ml of meth I got some where and I have had 20 odd yellows, i am chilled but not out my face.
 
Got a sentence of 3 year, did 18 month straight up in maximum security. Got out 6 month ago, In with a habit, you get a 12 day detox, i was hammerd going to court so i was cool that day, next day you see the doctor at some point and your rattling like a bastard, so that night they start you on 120mg dhc, 25mg of diazepam which is decent and held me, but they reduce fast and jump you off at 60mg dhc, so your gonna rattle , you either rattle it out, or join everyone else abusing the subby. Suboxone is easily number one abused drug in jails in the uk, definetly in Scotland anyway. So I joined that crew, well at first I was on a remand wing, where I was getting subby, but at the same time was wanting off it, I didn't know what I would of got at court, ended up on remand for 3 weeks, I know when I went to a sentenced hell i didn't have a habit to start with, didn't touch it for a month, was one weekend sitting in a gaff, me and boy from more area convinced ourselfs we would get a ml half it and leave it after that, crazy what half a ml does when youv no tolerance, used every second day, then more of my boys came in and we where getting all sorts, but subby always came first, then valium/hash, well that's what ma boys did other camps got brown in, not everyone has people who can keep there junk habit going, but even with a jail wage people could at least get a ml, sit without fuck all for one ml , usually at the weekends, fuck that! Spent like 16 month with a habit of subby, does so much more for you in jail than it does out here. One 8mg tab goes for 20, 3 for 50, and even then some wanks would want 20 for tab all the way through regardless, once we found out how to do the legal high we lived like kings tho, had like 40 subs stashed by at one point, up in the morning we would all be open in our hall and we would go to the person who held the night before for a "Gucci" coffee a line and a smoke. Sad as it seems if somebody came in on subby, few of you right into his gaff and tell them you need to hold back for the boys, was a form of pressure, not bullying , plus its jail you gotta do what ya gotta do!!!

But every night for about a year ad get dubbed up at half 8, with a bit of subby , legal, usually a good film, or bash the PS2 lol , jail was good, sad thing to say but if you land on your feet then it's good, missing family is the killing and am sure it has changed my relationship with my missus, but I done the crime, gotta do the time, and I did, liesense till July & my recall runs out in oct , it's the liesense that's the pain in the arse, lucky i was doing 4 year because your jailed again for failing a drugs test, I just missed al that shit, thank fuck or ad be back just now! My liesense is i report once a week stay away from known criminals aka ma mates, pretty basic actually and it's still a pain in the arse, can't imagine what it's like for an LTP , never mind a lifer, loads of good guys in jail, and some not so nice, but majority are good guys, and beast, granny bashers etc aren't put mainstream or they'd get skanked soon as word got out, even knew of screws who tell us "nawteez" as we called them.

I have blabbed a bit much there , but I had .2 of Dutch phet and thought no time like the present to try it, and with the valium it's a nice dunt! Really good paste from what I had of it .2, I knew it was good from other people trying it, but that was my first little taste. And it's nice , totally different from uk muck, feels cleaner for sure, & ya don't feel nowt from .2 of uk stuff , wouldn't even bothered had it been uk rubbish, like a nice coke feeling but lasts longer not feiending for more of it, and won't because that was the last of the sample I got , my yellows pollen and little bit of bud, also got 2 K Cans from the weekend, was thinking necking them with 5 yellows when I feel like sleeping.
 
Crack>benzos (or possibly the other way around)>brown is how I would rate hard drugs in terms of mental addiction potential.
 
I think your correct about that, I never fantasise about necking benzos, but I torment myself thinking about gear, from getting the foil out, to tasting that first line.

Could go a toot just thinking of that.

I reckon crystal meth once it gets its teeth in is the worse. Heroin users i know all say the same thing and go to Thailand where 20% of the country is totally hooked. It releases 4 times the amount of dopamine than pure cocaine....

Crystal is insidious. It's very subtle at first. Feel awesome. Can do anything. Soon enough though all you think about is twirling that pipe. I still enjoy it from time to time especially in Thailand where it is cheap and 95% pure straight from Burma but i am so wary of it. The only chemical that ever got its teeth properly to me and I have been using drugs for 32 years and tried just about everything including super high grade SEA #4 Heroin and proper freebase cocaine
 
What's the gear where y'all are ? Heard about the dry up, well nothing major. Teenth did cost me 60 on Friday , but boy said it was because it was fire , and he wasn't far off. It was lovely, it was smoked by the Saturday morning so me & a mate went to the only decent tenner bag man and he told me straight up where the gear came from, same source i had got the night before. When i was there the tenner man told me he would only be doing the door the next day from 11am till 1:30pm the next day, so next morning like at 9am me and my mate went and sold a few drugs that we had , coke paste, we had barley touched anything because we were smoking that much gear & gubbin benzos, zops, gabbas and pregablin , bang on at 11pm we were at the door we even seen him coming over the hill, got him and laid out 50 each so that was 10 bags, only reason never got an 8th was because that boy was off and i don't trust other people's gear. But by Monday tenner man had well below what he had the day before, even tho I only got 1 on the Monday it was different, and on the Tuesday I got 2 and it ran ok, but had that frosty bit on the beetle and haven't seen that in ages?? What is that again??!!

Only one person or family I know who are claiming a dry up, and they have like 3 houses , old granny in her 70s fires out bags all day but her clan claimed there was a dry up , but that's been about it, as i think av mentioned lol I am out on liesense, I buy 2/3bags , ad rather be buying 8ths but ad sell bags of it and ad be back dealing and can't risk that shit, not just yet. Av got a man who does fire constant , sometimes a little expensive but worth it, and by talking to people I know they'd snap 10bags up, longs as it the dark brown rocky gear, not the pure powder bash!!

Hope none of yawll aren't getting nowt at all!! Shit ain't that bad anywhere is it ?

Don't take this wrong mate but after reading your posts I can tell you not gonna be quiting anything anytime soon.
Just try look after yourself and watch mixin the benzos and opiates, know your limits.
 
I don't take it the wrong way at all mate, I know myself. If i got back to selling I know I would only use at weekends, before what I used to do, was of every oz I got, I would take 1.5g to myself and that would maintain me and i would still make a profit, it's the benzos i can't beat, right now anyway.

Today, I woke up, got 5 yellows out , kettle on, foil out, smoked a bag, went and done what I had to do, got another 2 bags, & 25 yellows, smoked a bag and took 5 yellows feeling nice, obv! Somebody owes me cash so instead of bringing me the cash, getting another 3 bags and 25 yellows, so I will have 4 bags and about 35 yellows which will do me tonight and tomorrow morning, for sure.
 
What makes you say if you was selling you would only use weekends?
How long it take u to sell an oz?
 
Once upon a time i was in the heart of a lot of drugs being sold, we'd get boxes sent up from down south , I had it all going for me but curiosity got the better of me and within time it crumbled and i was left with a smack habit, my own fault, I only used the odd days and was still making , difference is now ad need maintain and have went on meth, subs weren't for me yet, I am still an addict, am at 40, al probs go to 50 and use that on days off, for that plan to truly manageable i need take homes and since am new on it , it may take a while, with my mental health.


In days on the meth just at 40 has stopped me wanting to use, though I have been using diazepam to add to the effects of the meth, she said i could go up if it wasn't "holding me"' am planning to get to 50 and work at take homes. One thing av noticed am smashed just now not long eat 10 yellows and a few js and I am fucked , but if a could ad leave the meth long as possible , but ya don't want to go when it's busy, not that type so av went early today but I think I could of went to about 6 before I needed it and that would of been much better.

Some people have told me i have made a mistake in going on meth , but it was like subby just wasn't enough without benzos, even tho I have only been on meth 2 days I have been on benzos, was ok yesterday, feel fucked just now the weed and pollen have hut the spot tonight

It took me to be clean of benzos to start getting proper take homes, I was getting Saturday and Sunday but now I get Tuesday, Thursday Saturday and Sunday, soon I'll get full take homes bar the 1 day I have to go in, by next year I plan to have reduced and gotten off the subs
Echoing becomingjulies post earlier, I need to make a list of stuff I can do so as I won't get bored, my key worker was saying boredom plays a massive part in relapses

I haven't used today , used benzo obv though picked up 30 msj and got at least 50 yellows, plus av got 40mls of tomorrow meth, if i took 20mls and a handful of benzos there's a gouch to be had there? That along with pollen & pollen smashes me more on opiates. Even more so than green. So ya think it would ?

Taking benzos with bupe is bad enough, but adding them on top of done, especially in the huge quantities you are taking, is a quick recipe for ending up dead. Seriously. Please, reread your posts over the last few pages, your benzo use is out of control, its your real problem, and the longer it goes on the worse withdrawal is gonna be for you
