That book covers mostly rehab and withdrawal, and is fairly long It can't really trigger me into buying anymore (until next friday I guess) as my bank balance is 0 till then. Oh well better get started and stop moaning on here *builds pillow fort*

Think I might build a pillow fort knock back a massive amount of valium and try re-reading skagboys when I wake up rattling tomorrow, codeine and oxycontin just seem to be making this more difficult.

ask about the possibilities of an inpatient detox using DFs(dihydrocodeine)
they did that for me,but as usual,i discharged myself
go to prison.easiest place to detox as long as you don't get dragged into the drug scene there
 
The man who took everything from me that I loved,who turned me into the addict that I was and everything that came with that,has now got liver and bowel cancer.I know that I should not be feeling happy about this,but I truly believe that karma has caught up with him.he will die a horrible,painful death.But IMO that is nothing less than he deserves.He used me for what he wanted then took everything.Left me empty and years struggling with mental illness and suicidal ideation.
Have said goodbye to my heroin addiction although opiates still maintain my life(without them,I think I wouldn't be here today).Now I can say goodbye to the cause.For years I have battled the idea of killing him with my own hands.Now he gets his dues.=D

Not meaning to pry if you don't want to elaborate, can you give me a bit of background on this guy and his relation to you? just passing time and trying to focus on something. Got too much stuff to do this week to be an inpatient anywhere, two interviews two job centre appointments, a load of forms to fill out, I picked up another bag again it's the strongest street gear i've ever had I actually fully blacked out from smoking it and I only had a fraction to what i'm accustomed to from the same dealer, I should warn the couple of people I know who pin it and buy off this person, fully wasn't expecting that.

there are so many different looking plants.
which ones are the right ones that i need?
my neighbour gave up his half of our communal garden to me,so I have space to plant loads.but I just don't know which to plant.my dad says he has some that are pink with a black centre,but after looking at all the different looking plants,they may be useless

Just a warning that Peterborough and Cambridgeshire have had some deaths this month from gear testing at 4-5 times the usual purity so be careful when doing your gear and make sure to test some on the foil first. No hit is worth dying over.
 
If I apply to a job with the police in an administrative role (entry level filing job) what are the odds on them making me take a non-urine based drugs test as part of the vetting process?
 
You wil have to be cleared by the polices occupational department before you start work. As far as Im aware, you shouldnt be subject to a drugs test unless you give the assessor a reason to refer you for one, such as prior indication of drug use within your medical records. Even warranted police officers shouldnt have to take drug tests unless there are specific indications to conduct one.

Manditory workplace drug testing in the UK tends to be the province of private industry as they dont like their employees having a private life due to the potential for reduced productivity and profit.

Thats about as far as this discussion can go - I cant comment on the various methods as the BLUA does not permit discussion about the specifics of drug screens.
 
My mum applied for an admin job within the police and her application form,she had to give them the go ahead to check all her relatives records.At the time,she didn't know I had a record(just possession),so I refused-cos she did ask me.I said they had no right to be looking at me when it's her applying for the job.But it seems you have to let them or they won't offer you a job.
Hence,I believe there is a good chance the contract would allow them the right to administer random drug tests.Having worked in places with these contracts,they say it's 'random',but it's not at all.It just allows them to test anyone they are suspicious of without having to give them a reason.

Fortunatly I look quite composed when I need to, when I went to pick up a small amount last night at the usual spot junkies pick up at near me I was wearing a black suit and came and sat on a bench and about four or five people loitering nearby all started to shift away, two went down the street and crouched behind a wall peeping at me while another went into a bush.. felt like I was going to get ambushed they obviously thought they were being inconspicuous and that I was some kind of narco agent, then the guy turned up, exchanged goods with me then asked, who are all these people round here? getting worried himself thinking I was also a cop and that all the junkies being inconspicuous were police waiting to jump him... oh well, hopefully this will be my last score for a while as ridiculous as that situation was.

I take what you say about the family checks Kat -it would be a conflict of professional interests for the police to employ anyone, even in a civilian role, if they were related to someone with serious criminal convictions (im sure your mom would have still been eligible for employment if this was prior to your prison sentence when simple drug posession was your only recorded offence.) Otherwise, I seriously doubt that submission to random drug screens would be a pre- condition for employment in any public role - as I stated, this wold be an occupational health matter first and foremost.

As I have already stated, the only time I have come across random drug tests as a condition of contract have been concerned with light and heavy private industrial type jobs, in all cases I remember the parent companies concernered have been (unsurprisingly) American based multinationals
