EADD Heroin discussion v.20 -- You've come a long way baby

also i THINK I know your method and if I'm right no offence coz I did it with speed but I couldn't imagine heroin working in the same way
 
I couldn't believe how much I was wasting with my "blast" technique (letting it bubble and not slide down then foil.)
When I got my technique back I was nodding like it was 1969 (and I don't caaaaaareeee!).
Honestly - Get the chasing technique down and your gear will last you MUCH MUCH longer :)

Blotting strikes me as wasteful, because every toke ends with a frazzle, and I just never seem to get high from a frazzle.

Over the years since I first discovered heroin, I have refined my technique to the point where I can run a very little gear a very long way if I have to. The trick is keeping the lighter flame behind the beetle. And make a chisel-pointed tube. It really does catch more of the precious vapours.
 
in exactly the same position as mr grinder personally ive nevergot much beyond feeling well off of the so called mucous membrane u speak of. and unfortubately had to resort to that or just drinking the shot many a times, im myself looking into ways maybe that satisfy me more than chasing. tho the truth is i dont thik nothig wil come close, had the odd shot in my feet lately, not nice . massive like stinging nettle burn all over, not sure if citric burn or histmine relese but itches like fuck . ive been reading about IMing has any 1 done H this way an if so wheres the best place as i hear the bicep shouldnt be bigger than a 50 cc shot, half a 1 ml. Any info wud be nice as i dont wanna fuk it up and have a massive abcess or ote
 
whats the name of the doc u saw teethgrinder if u remember, or any1 knows it. dont think ive seen it and i like to watch documentarys. ote to pass the time. i must have watched 100s on youtube this year alone

I think that's what Sammy told me was called 'spotting'. That's how I tried my first 0.2g a few months ago & was incredibly wasteful. I got sort of high but probably only smoked like 1/4 of the gear. I only did a small amount for each attempt since it frazzled away quite easily without it running.

I found chasing down a long thin rectangular bit of foil was the best method. Got much more out of the second 0.2g a few days later. So in otherwords, stick with what you know.
 
Aye i'm the same, i love running it for as long as p[ossible round and round and i feel it gets me much higher and is much more economical too (whether the first part is true though..) wheras most mates just run it back and forth over the same bit till it frazzles, and use loads more b than i would, and i swear on my (literally 1/2-1/3) the amount on the foil i get higher in comparison rather than it just frazzling then complaining that i want more
 
yeah i wouldnt spot burn even tho in theory ur burning and inhaling a bigger amount, and it should be a better rush it dont really feel like it and defo is quite wasteful.
Julie youve inspired me to make my first chisel pointed tooter in years,i remember it collecting better back then. Ill see if i see a differance

Yes, I think you could be right when you said people might smoke gear that way because they haven't got much foil. Because it does seem wasteful. Maybe as you said they can't afford foil, or maybe its used in prisons, where people don't have access to foil.

BTW, I love your username, Teethgrinder. Is that a reference to the Belfast band, Therapy? I remember when Therapy first got together, they used to play small Warzone gigs in Belfast, and they played a few pubs in Dublin. They were brilliant live, the whole pub went quite when they came on, everyone loved them. Although, I suppose your name may not be in reference to Therapy. But I started singing the song in my head the minute I saw your name. :)
 
yeah the lack of foil was my initial thought anyway-and yes teethgrinder is very much from therapys nurse album :D you know your the first and only person to make that connection (or at least ask if it was a reference to them) in more than 5yrs of using that username heehee you jammy shit having seen em live lol NURSE!!!!! lol

It's simple physics. The catchment area is 1.414 times larger when the end of the tube is at a 45 degree angle. (It's an ellipse, whose area is given by π * w * h; the width obviously is the diameter of the tube, the height is the hypotenuse of the right-angled, isosceles triangle whose short sides = w, which is w * the square root of 2.) So you're almost half as likely again to inhale any given molecule of vapour. "Bowling overarm" is when you hold the tube with the long part of the point down and the aperture on top, so the smoke has to travel up, over and down into the tube. You need to suck harder this way than when "bowling underarm", which is when you hold the tube so the aperture is directly over the beetle. People are different, so try both ways.

Your turn to remind me of something: When I was up at her place a few weeks ago, Lauren was very impressed by my chisel-pointed tooter -- Look!, she enthused to her boyfriendlive-in dealer, She isn't missing a single molecule of smoke with that! Followed shortly by Jules, will you make me one of your special fancy tooters? I wonder how many people Lauren has passed the technique on to?

Her fella couldn't be bothered with "faffing around doing fancy origami" and preferred just to make a straight-ended tube; which he managed to do without using a mould, which was slightly impressive in its own right but still seemed a bit wrong. It does take longer to make a chisel-point; but it's definitely worth it, as ultimately you don't end up wasting so much of your hard-earned.

I haven't been using for too long but from what I do know, the UK will get the pre-drought stuff before we do, so I'm not holding my breath until there is consistent pre drought heroin in the UK. Consistency is key here!
