They were prescribed for those who suffered a lot of side-effects from morphine.

They've been all but superseded by oxys for that purpose now, which makes sense given oxy's oral BA. Still, they're a curiosity, aren't they?
 
They are indeed. I had no idea they existed. There used to be an oral diamorphine linctus but that was stopped 1995ish. I though the dry amps where the only forms of diamorphine left....what about those 500mg amps though?...fucking hell!!.....retail at £56 each though from a pharmaceutical wholesaler.
 
When I was in the hospital,I had a naso-gastric tube and a bag to collect all the bile from my stomach.So,anything I drank would just come back out through the tube.So,we had a problem taking meds.my morphine comes in capsules filled with granules,so i would just open it into my mouth and despite the nastiness,I had to let them be absorbed through my mouth.Did work,but quite unpleasant
 
500mg of pure Diamorph is still only 1g of 50% gear, or 5g of 10% shite/gear.

There seems to be this big aura surrounding pure DM, alas, it is but another opiate, and purportedly not as enjoyable as the unrefined gear due to the M/C/T and acylated products of such.

@Englandgz74: 6-MAC is purported as lethally toxic on the scale of cyanide: but, I have personally used it and disagree. It is dangerous - MASSIVE H1 action at double digit doses, but not sub-mg chemotoxin. The acylation of C is similar to M: increased potency, rate of absorption and increased subjective euphoria. Whilst very mild opiate effects can be achieved from AC, it is not worth it at all due to the aforementioned, and arguably until rhetoric, histamine release and resultant oedema. Thus, 6-MAC is partially responsible for the subjective effects of "Heroin", as opposed to DiaMorphine, and may be an explanation as to why some batches produce far more histaminic reactions than others. The activity of 3-MAM and 6-MAM is well reported and again; contribute to the "Heroin" feel. Thebaine, too, plays a major role.

Let's not forget about the other adulterants in street gear (benzos, barbs etc.), some of which contribute massively to its effects.

I'd take that 500mg DM over 1g of 50% gear any day. Not that there's much 50% gear out there anyhow.
 
Yeah I know 500mg isn't a callosal amount but bear in mind the dose often used medically is 5-6mg it makes you wonder who a 500mg amp is designed for? Where talking an amp too not a vial so the unused part would have to be disguarded. Usually the 30mg ones are the biggest ever seen....100mg ones are incredibly rare but 500?..

I suppose ever the hulk may need post-surgical pain relief at some time Lol!

scored tonight, couldnt help myself. its been ages and hopefully is an isolated fuck up. gear wasnt anything special, roughly .4 didnt even have me nodding out, but fuck... herions sweet kiss, how ive missed thee...

its almost worn off now and im in bed clawing myself senseless but its kind of nice to scratch.
 
Yeah true enough. I think opiaterock deleted his facebook, either that or he blocked me lol. We used to talk quite a bit and I know there was a lot going on in his life lately so I'm somewhat concerned.
 
ah well if hes deleted fb tjen hes prolly just in hiding from friends who use/dealers etc. but i dont know him. i knew he got on tje green and was wanting to chuck it a.
cant speak for brimz like, but he goes on a lot of benders and bl doesnt cross his mind. we couldnt lose aanother bler tjis year ffs i hope!!

brimz use to post on here x20 a day sometimes - a very regular poster but he fell out with some folk on here and said he wouldn't be back....and he hasn't.
 
Getting pre drought strenght heroin in ireland again.
Got a €15 bag of rocket fuel for free cos i was generous with tings last week. I like it :-)
 
I'm finally getting proper pre drought gear in weights, £ 150 a 1/8 can't believe how long it's taken ( for me ) to get sorted, ha gear stained teeth FTW. long May it last.
Also acquired some 2ml Xanax bars for the first time today , cool looking lil things ain't they. Might give em a test drive tonight.

Yeah I hope that's it. Still would like to hear from opiaterock sometime, I'm curious to know how he's getting on.

€15 bag? What part of the country are you in?

I haven't been using for too long but from what I do know, the UK will get the pre-drought stuff before we do, so I'm not holding my breath until there is consistent pre drought heroin in the UK. Consistency is key here!
 
I got a call yesterday from someone who was off for a year and he sorted me out a sample - same as the the tenner a point stuff - very pale and runs with hardly a trace to a pinprick but 150 for an1/8th...but allthough its better, i can get it for 110 and its bang on 3.5(not as good tho') so not sure what i'll do - probably risk it later in the week when im doshed up
