EADD Heroin discussion v.20 -- You've come a long way baby

Dentists:I am lucky that in Birmingham we have a wonderful teaching school for dentists so everyone gets top class treatment for free,even if you work.Also,they have everything there,including the expertise to give you either a general or sedation.I always got my dentist to refer me there and they would give me sedation(midazolam).Like Blondin,I have no veins-not from using,i was born that way.I had my veins scanned when I had my surgery back in August and the intensive care doc said they were just very small veins.But at the dental hospital,they just escorted me down to the surgical ward and got one of their anaethetists to put a canula in.They can do it to babies,so they could get me every time(this was after several visits and after they realised the regular dentists,even consultants,couldn't get a vein).When I had my surgery,they choked me out,by 4 people applying pressure to arteries/veins whatever until i passed out.then they put a line in my neck and i was out.while i was under,they dug around for a better vein and when i came round,they had removed the one from my neck and i had this other one for my drips.
Anyways,even though we have the wonderful dental clinic,a dentist in a new area sent me to some kinda big clinic.They couldn't get a vein the one day,so sent me home to come back on a different day.that time,they got one and work was done.I always said that if a tooth was bad,don't fill it,just pull it so it won't bother me again,eventually I just said to take em all out(uppers).Now I can't grind my teeth things are much better.
The point is that I didn't tell them i was on methadone for 2 reasons.I was,a bit like you,worried that giving me IV benzos,if they knew I was on a script,they may not have given it to me or given me much less.But that's only cos of the benzos,it shouldn't have any effect on any novocaine/local that they give you.The other reason was cos I had to have someone there to take me home and keep an eye on me,because of the sedation,and i didn't want them knowing i was on methadone.I have never had any doc give me pk's.I hear they used to dish out diconal.I have had pethidine twice,when i was having my kids and it was ace!But I had no tolerance to opiates as i was clean throughout all my pregnancies.As for pain for after the event,they will tell you to take paracetamol at regular intervals.not to wait for the pain then take it,just to take it every 4/8 hours-whatever it says on the pack.The only things dentists ever gave me were strong antibiotics as if you have an infection,there is a good chance the local will have little or no effect,so this could be the cause of the problem some of you seem to have had with local anaesthesia.
I wouldn't tell the dentist;but that's more about me being a devious lying junkie.you should be fine either way.
One thing I would disagree with is having a toot afterwards.you know how bad it is on your teeth.you have a raw gaping hole in your gum which might not be helped in any way by you having a blast and getting that shit sticking all in the hole.it's a post extraction infection waiting to happen.

No, englandgz74, I wouldn't be that daft. Rechargeable batteries are at least plausible. Fancy watches and suitcases, not so (and check what your own contents policy says regarding single high-value items).

I'd already told the Old Bill that came round, "They even helped themselves to my st .......... ereo". I wasn't going to push it with the loss adjuster.
 
We were burgled just before we went on holiday and weren't insured - on holiday we were' burgled' and lost every thing digital cameras, video's a couple of rings and a few other bits n bobs 500 cash as well - spanish police very obliging so it all worked out in the end : )
 
It seems like we've all have our fair share of experiences with the dentists. I guess heroin use, and losing teeth, go hand in hand.

I've been taking Ponstan 500's all week, I find them quite good for pain relief. I'm not sure what the dentist will do with me on Thursday? The most painful problem I have is an exposed nerve on my eye tooth. OUCH! I also have a large hole in my wisdom tooth. And lastly, one of my molar teeth really hurts when I try to eat. All three teeth are on the top right hand side. Its weird that they are all giving problems at the same time. I hope I haven't got a worse underlying problem. I'm probably being paranoid...

Yep, we had all different kinds of gear charts throughout the drought. People in the UK were getting anything from 1/10 to 10/10. While here in Dublin I was getting minus -10/10. The quality was really bad here for such a long, long time. I was convinced things would never improve. But it did improve, v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y.....

The first few months of the drought was like a bad nightmare. There wasn't even bash available in Dublin, there was zero gear.

It was December, freeze cold and snowing. Our car broke at the start of the drought. I remember Mr. Ructions and I slipping and sliding around the streets in the snow and ice, looking for gear. It was freezing cold, there were gangs of miserable looking junkies shivering on every street corner, with a look of pure desperation in their eyes. Every dealers phone was switched off. Everything was grey, miserable and bleak. Dark days...

We were lucky to have our methadone scripts, I felt so sorry for those who didn't. :(

But looking back, I'm kinda glad the drought happened, because it thought me how to stop using daily. Before the drought, I used every single day, without fail. I would never been able to cut back, if I hadn't been forced into it. But nowadays, I feel I have more control over my addiction. Well, kinda...

This thread really helped too. We were all in the same situation, all having the same desperate thoughts. We all wanted to know, what caused the drought? When will the gear be back? Why? Where? How? When? Poppy blights? Russians taking all the gear? We came up with such amazing theories! If we had been studying the heroin drought as a subject in university, we'd all have got A+ in out exams. We helped each other through those dark times. This thread was my lifeline. <3

Im using this weekends misery as my excuse, but i scored again yesterday - the first time ive done this twice in the space of one week for ages.

Still pretty good - 2 bags had me come feel the noyze with Mr Holder perfectly - on top of my script as well (???!!!)

6.5 blondins minimum
 
Remember at the begining of the drought this thread was reaching a 1000 posts in a few days it was relentless, with the same things being posted round and round 'no gear' ,' its the ruskies', 'the blight', 'it will be over by december,jan .feb, summer......' Truth is it has never got back to how it use to be and the 'normal' gear that use to be 40-45% is now more like 20-30% unless you pay more or have a good connect. As for the W thats been shit for longer, i gave a bag away the otherday as it was just pointless smoking it.
 
I have same issues with dentist. Told them I was on methadone and got IV Midazolam :-D. Got 4 tooth pulled and didn't really feel it,or Care! This was at my local hospital as I couldn't do it with just local...pussy lol.

My dealer who is the only source of good gear is out of jail, got a text from him last night so I'm going to get a teenth :-) happy tooting
 
Hello all. I have a question, not relating to heroin but rather morphine. I have some capsules with the little balls inside, the time-release stuff. Thusfar I've been breaking them open and crushing the balls into a powder and snorting it. My question is: is it possible to smoke morphine in this form? Smoking's by far my preferred ROA for heroin.

I am prescribed these caps and no,you cannot smoke them.And even crushing them,it doesn't release them from the slow delivery that they are designed to be.if you want the heroin experience,you gotta go get some heroin
 
Aah bugger. Yeah this is what I'd feared. I'm increasingly coming to the conclusion that all opiates are pretty much a waste of time except H and codeine. Thanks for your informative answer anyway :).
 
The week just gets worse. Just scored again (3 bags) when i went to get some weed. Im still going to try and have a normal day, lunch now with the old man while we watch the rest of man city, bong + spliff + film once the footballs finished, gives me an excuse to save the kit for bedtime (which will probably be 6pm)

The heartbreakers threatening to ring at some point so i need to keep my wits about

I'm in the same predicament Pink... I've tried everyone I know and some I didn't. All appears the same, colour, texture etc.. The only difference is taste and smell which is probably down to their choice of bash, some stuff I tried for a couple of days destroyed my chest and ive had a horrendous cough from it..
 
The gear im getting now is strong but is giving me a phlegme cough - tho that maybe cos im smoking too much
 
ive been getting same stuff for months it cna be so harsh on the throat it sometimes forces a cough mid line. has a strong pins n needles rush. So id guess it has a relatively high morphine content. tried some from anather souurce yesterday. weak no harshness to smoke, and can taste a cut ive defo tasted before but i dont know exactly what it is, Reddish tint aswell luckily id only got a bag as wasnt impressed. SO went back to my regular geez

ditto tho im not sure if im developing a cold

I read the other day somewhere that BTH is more refined and a bit purer than our #3 base. Though im sure i've read the oposite and always thought Black tar was quite poorly refined and not as good quality as base #3. I know they're 2 differant beasts and strength/purity can vary enourmously depending on sources etc. Was just wondering the TRUTH on the matter

see this threads been going on for a while the gears always pretty steady were im from east midlands the good stuff tends to have a fishy taste to it i dont really smoke it anymore cus of tolerence one bag in the pin is better than 2 smoked but back in the day when i was smoking it all the time that shit with the reddish tinge ment crap gear

Well, held out untill 3 - the gear was fine - although I am finally experiencing diminished returns clatterwise (due to this being the 4th day in the last seven on which ive used) a contented, euphoric mood was acieved with attendant flight of ideas. This was followed by some minor nodding, enhanced by listening to the beautiful score for David Finchers 'Gone Girl' by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

Then the heartbreaker rang, and despite an amicable conversation she still completely blew my high, leaving me a little upset - as such, I managed to abort the rest of the day using an extra 70mg methadone and 10mg diclazepam (this is not supposed to be hr in any sense - its just a melodramatic trip report by a lovesick sicko)
