It's awesome my neighbours have bought some extra land, they just finished building a new larger fence, so now I have grazing sheep and donkeys almost down from my terrace, I can see them just a few metres away while sitting outside having a cup of tea, yesterday there was even a big fat mama pig with two small piglets. It's great they make lot of noise. I was afraid they would sell off the land, that would have been a tragedy as they would have built new houses. Fuck I hate when they overbuild everywhere in the countryside.

Basically they retained their land, which they were considering selling, and bought the extra strip that separates my house from their property. Nice now I'll keep my view with no new buildings.

Easier than it is to fall out of love with them once you actually get to 'know' them (inasmuch as you can ever know anybody).

Not that I give two fucks about all that shite.

Are you suggesting that if I peruse my wish to have bum fun with Knock-tabulous that I will at some point have my heart broken?

Lulz. <3

I love postin' tunes and getting replies off kin folk. I don't care about all the rest of the shite to be perfectly honest with you.

So officer Leroy comes up to me in the alley and I was all like - whatever.

<3

Thank you fairnymph, I appreciate that <3
One of my grandfathers was from Boston and I have to say I'm almost glad he's not with us anymore and didn't have to hear about this, particularly what happened to the homeless man. Disgusting is definitely the right word for it.
I get what you mean about trying to avoid this kind of news though. I guess you just have to try and compensate by remembering all the great recent achievements as well, like those few people who were cured of AIDS.

Atm I'm just trying to ignore the political news in France and the fact that electing Hollande is probably gonna land us in the same position as Greece eventually, hah. What a mess.

By the way brimz, sorry I'm kind of late with this, but a huge and sincere congragulations on your few days clean!!

Do you know whereabouts exactly your grandfather's from in Boston? Which part or suburb? Just curious. I really like Boston as far as US cities go. It's not NYC but it has its own charm.

When you speak of France going the way of Greece, do you mean financially? God I hope not. If so I really need to plan a trip before prices skyrocket. Prices for basic things are surprisingly low here in Germany.

No i don't i can find out though.
That's pretty mad that you need a licsence 4 a chainsaw . How do they keep track on it ? If i had access to one i would of used it but had to be imaginative instead :)
I know some brothers that have a very success full Tree Surgery Bizniz . They have been doing it for about 15 years .

You need a license for practically everything here, and anything you can think of must be registered. Including my cat! There's so much red tape and dozens of bizarrely named departments - it gives me all a massive headache. I'm well versed in American legalese but the German version might as well be Chinese. On the plus side, fees and such tend to be very reasonable and the police aren't asshole terrorists, so it's better than in the US.

I'm fairly sure that to buy a chainsaw here you need a license first, similar to buying a gun in the US. Oh, I forgot the worst thing about German law, they are absolutely rabid about insurance. I detest insurance because it's always been a total waste of money for me and violates one of my fundamental beliefs, namely punishment of victimless crimes. I'm legally required to have more types of insurance than I'd ever heard of, and most people voluntarily opt for twice as many insurances. I think it's the nation's biggest industry, tbh.

Good, glad to hear it Myshkin.

<3 How are we all today?

Rolling around wearing hats with actually rolling at all by the sound of it.

Toucan...hello <3

Like in Four Lions, "can they see you if you're not there?"

Hey Kenny :D

I have the sneaky suspicion you may like that film a bit? I do too. I like it.

Aye up you unbelievin' Kuffar bastards! I'm gonna turn you to baked beans.

Yeah the wind is quiet interesting here as well. I love the temp though. A pleasant change. Enjoying it.

Have you Westons on the menu today SHM? I am thinking of buying a box for £48 for 20 pints. I have the chance to go to the factory. Do you think they will sell for cheaper there?

edit. I just phones them, it isn't - £48 even if you visit the shop at the factory. I remember a time when you visited the factory for something the stuff you brought was well cheap.

I was in a Thatchers brewery ting last summer and that was dangerously cheaper though that was just for draught. Pretty sure the bottled stuff only came down to co-op prices. Bought shitloads on the way home. Then realized it had to be drunk in 7 days.

Already started on the Westons. It's been that kind of ...week. And I know it's only Tuesday. Isn't it?

Just came back from the bakery, walked there, I'm all sweaty. Spring is definately here. My cherry tree is almost blossoming, usually it happens in late March but this year it has been delayed by the lingering cold. Will have a few people over when it flowers, put some towels on the grass and sit down under the tree tripping and drinking like they do in Japan. I love that tree.
