Yeah just please keep your fingers crossed that they're okay. As well as the friend we've been talking about. I'm starting to lose my fucking mind dealing with so many people in my life either dying or at real risk of death. It's gotten to a point where even being high 24/7 isn't numbing anything at all. How big was this tree? I'm doing a lot of major landscaping on my property, hired crew since you need a fucking license to operate a chainsaw in Germany. Not that'd I'd personally be able to fell trees, but my housemate/companion really likes that sort of work & prefers to avoid chainsaws anyway. Nearly all the trees that need to be felled are tall pines, fairly thin. I'd like to recommend your technique if you think it'd work for my trees.
 
The thing with chainsaws is it's quite easy to cut either your foot or your head in half if you don't know what you're doing ;)
 
About 8 ft tall with a load of prickly nasty branches that i've got a few scratches from & about 5/6 inches wide . It wasn't dead so that made it harder . It had some illness though , that's why she wanted it gone .
 
Ok, we had a small tree, more of a bush really :) well my pensioner Father in olaw hacked at this while we cleared our garden when we first moved in. The roots were a cunt to get out. I was really fucking pulling at thios thing eventually got it. Euphoria folks, when you pull a tree from the ground.

We had four very large trees in front of our house surrounding the drive/. They blocked light and were fucking massive. Well my father in laws mate works for the forestry departmenrt and owned a chainsaw and we worked at them all fucking day. Hacking at them and driving the bitys to the local tip buit by bit all day but eventually we m,anaged it. was a job though believ me. At onbe point the branches that were cut were nanging off the telephone cables. LOL.

I have pictures to prove all this before and after. I want to post them,/. I'm not lying. <3

Sounds much shorter but otherwise similar to the pines I have. Thanks :) I'll let you know how it works out. What kind of tree was yours exactly, do you know?

Pagey, I hope you friends & relatives are well. Thinking of them and you. <3 I grew up in MA and moved back there after college to live in the Boston area. Quite shocking to me, especially the bit about the homeless man. The homeless in Boston and environs are very decent folks & I'd feel safe alone with ten of them in a dark alley. As Shambles said, it's just disgusting that anyone would abuse someone already so badly off.

This is why I dont follow news unless it's science news. It depresses me unbearably and ruins any remnants of hope for humanity. :(

One of my grandfathers was from Boston and I have to say I'm almost glad he's not with us anymore and didn't have to hear about this, particularly what happened to the homeless man. Disgusting is definitely the right word for it.
I get what you mean about trying to avoid this kind of news though. I guess you just have to try and compensate by remembering all the great recent achievements as well, like those few people who were cured of AIDS.

Atm I'm just trying to ignore the political news in France and the fact that electing Hollande is probably gonna land us in the same position as Greece eventually, hah. What a mess.

By the way brimz, sorry I'm kind of late with this, but a huge and sincere congragulations on your few days clean!!

That's pretty mad that you need a licsence 4 a chainsaw . How do they keep track on it ? If i had access to one i would of used it but had to be imaginative instead :)
I know some brothers that have a very success full Tree Surgery Bizniz . They have been doing it for about 15 years .
