You haven't answered any questions put to you, you've just continued hard with the inane gibbering.

Just in case you ever want to get back on topic these are some genuine questions:

Do you believe that the only way to Heaven is through Christianity?

Do you believe in the biblical notion of Hell (eternal torture in a lake of fire etc)?

Do you believe that a corrupt, lying, thieving, murdering, pedophile, rapist (8o) who accepts Jesus and repents will get into Heaven?

Do you believe that a dying, innocent child indoctrinated into a different faith (or with no faith at all) will go to Hell?

Mr M. I wish i could give you a satisfactory answer. like I said before I dont entirely understand the passage.. I would prefer that the girl had a choice. But the times meant that a woman had to be a virgin to marry.. Spinsters were left dependent on family..

The rape is robbery enough.. The law there ensures the woman is provided for and that the man pays.

Wow.

Get raped. Have to go on seeing the rapist every day for the rest of your life. Get raped even more because of daily proximity to aforementioned rapist. Have to do as rapist says, cook his dinners and darn his socks.

^In response to my questions, this is the first time you've typed words in an order that have conveyed any meaning.

So you believe that Heaven is accessible to the very worst possible expressions of humanity? Individuals that have dedicated their lives to inflicting suffering and misery to their fellow humans, provided they join Jesus' Gang?

Sort of: "Don't worry boys, my Dad run's this place. Be as heinous as you like. At the end just tell him you're with me, he'll pay your tab."

Ok. So, do you think that good people who have lead good lives, but have a different faith (or no faith at all) would be sent to heaven or hell?

What? Doesn't have to get raped? Are you suggesting that rape victims have an alternative option?

If the rapist is forced to marry her she'll be seeing him daily (or do you mean she can look out the window whilst being raped from now on?).
 
Repentence is a painful process george. It involves a complete turn around and death to self.. So no paedo, robber etc will get into Heaven or the place we turn to.

Sin looks vile and shameful.. We are cleansed through the blood and sacrifice of Christ.

Everyone gets a glorious, pure and white mantel.. our souls can be perfectly cleansed.. Christ is capable of refining anyone.

If we choose to remain in our sin then that is our choice isnt it.. nobody gets slung into hell.

It says 'at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow ( philipians ).. even satan has knees.. but is too proud to use them.

So you are of the belief that good folk who lead good lives, but don't have any faith (or are a different one) don't get slung into Hell? Or do they still have to join Jesus Club to make it to the VIP lounge and avoid the inferno?

So a good and innocent person that simply doesn't get to hear about Jesus, or one that hears about Buddha instead, gets burnt for all eternity?

This really is the crux of the whole argument right here. An omnipotent, omnicient God condemns two thirds of the worlds population to burn for all eternity (that is a very very long time) just because (as he well knew to start with) they wouldn't be Christian through geographical location and/or cultural heritage? How can this possibly be consistent with the notion of a loving God? It's a total logic failure.

That very same study has also been used to say that Liberals are mean, and Conservatives are more generous.

Ok this is where we're melting down.

Eternity (existence for a limitless amount of time) is Christ (a man born 2000 years ago, believed by some to be the son of God)? To face him (the son of god, or the concept of time?) we have to face ourselves? He's surrounded by fire, but peace-love-power-joy-fun on the inside?

Are you trying to say that after these good folk die they can still enter in, once they realise they're in the fire and can see the peace-love-power-joy-fun just over there and can enter it, since that had been their M.O all through life anyway?

Or are you saying that since they've been outside Christ all they're lives thetyve been in the fire all along anyway and won't notice the difference after death?

Confusing analogies are confusing.

If only everyone who claimed to be Christian did as Mr SBs said and strived to be more Christlike, no more no less, we'd be cool.

Jesus was a dude, whether you believe in God, or that he was the son of god or if you believe he walked the earth at all, Jesus was a dude. Is there any examples in the Bible of anything Jesus did that could be considered cruel, elitist or generally uncool?
