EADD Body Modification Thread

10 being worst pain I've experienced and 1 being poked lightly with something sharp, then 4-5, maybe a 6 for the worst bits. It's more a weird visceral feeling than particularly bad pain.

That seems strange to me, for some reason I imagine it being utterly torturous. If I ever bite my tongue when eating that bloody hurts, and that's hardly comparable!

It also depends on the method uses to cut it. There are 3 mains ones. Scalpel then stitches or a cauterizing tool, a lazer which cuts and cauterizes or you tie it and it gradually cuts through. This is good cos it means no risk of serious bleeding but it does hurt more and if you trap nerves the pain spikes.

I got a tattoo :)

Nipple piercings take far too long to heal.

My tounge never took this long. I'm wondering how much longer this is going to take. 6 months + from my last count.

Mine never took that long, sucky. Do you keep catching it? Sometimes I find a change of bar helps quite a lot for some reason I can't quite fathom.

No, it doesnt catch but I still have to clean it every other day. I tried taking the bar out, out of curiosity. Got halfway and was just gonna push it back. OOOHHH that was a bit tender.

Perhaps it has to do with the thickness of the nipple?

If you post a piccie i'll give you my opinion/advice. ;)

Mine was fine after just a few weeks. They are usually between 1 month to 6, (6 is extreme) to heal, mine was a month as it's just flesh, but yeah if there's a lot more flesh it's going to take longer.

If it's taking a long time you might need to check if the jewelry is the right size and is not causing aggravation. They are also susceptible to hormonal changes in the breast every month, which could be contributing to the need for cleaning still, so that can slow things down. So I was told by my enthusiastic piercer when she did mine :)

Ear cartilage piercings, now they take far too long!!

I've just had to give up on one and take it out :(

Yeah maybe you're right. It just gets a tiny bit dull so I need to clean it every 2-3 days. I also think that it will take longer the thicker they are.
Doesn't hurt at all though.

Chewy nipples ftw!

Sorry to hear you had to remove your piercing ccf. That sucks!

Where's the pic? ;)

I got my ear pierced for a fiver in Hackney the other day, just a plain gold stud on the right hand side, looks nice but I haven't got a pic :) considering getting a scaffold done on the other side.
