EADD Bitcoins 2

damn btc-e is looking like the Microsoft Windows scientific calculator these days. there used to be like 4 buttons. then a second row started forming. then Chinacoin happened somehow (ok that one was def a ponzi scheme)

now its like "do you want to trade your currency for cryptocurrency, real currency, or just a Random Acronym Generator that is forever pegged to .002/btc

at least the trollbox still exists. they were always pretty up front about it being nonsense though, btc-e has really been the silent but steady player in this whole thing. at first people were like "errmergerd russian hosted AVOID AVOID" only for Mt Gox to fall off because theyre retarded and then a flood of people were like "uhh I think they accidentally put an L in BTC. its what? different? and four times faster? and the same damn thing conceptually? my god"

as if anything related to this shit should be trusted fully. I'd trust eastern europeans with quasi illegal shit over companies in first world countries 10/10 times

I like the idea of scrypt-n, except its kind of counter intuitive to have a large variety of those coins since nobody will be using ASICS to pump up the network hash rate which is the ultimate goal for any coin from a technical standpoint. Nobody agrees on shit though and until there's some kind of standards set Im not touching any of this with a radeon because these coins come and go like Memes anymore.

shit, coins ARE MEMES anymore.

it's a joke, but only right now.

and motherfucking China has to be the wild card in everything like they always are. what is going on with btc in china? legal? not legal? quasi legal (aka not legal in china punishable by death)

I have a feeling the govt is going to shut it down faster than a downhill rickshaw ride, but only because its China

Ok so i've made an account on SR2. Whats the best/safest way to go about getting some bitcoins into my account? I've done a bit of research but keep hearing lots of different things and i cant really get my head around it all! Cheers

many users on localbtc use cash deposit options at banks

face-to-face meetings arent very popular due to potential robbery. if they do its at a public place 10/10 times

it might be different in the UK, but I doubt it

honestly though, nobody is trackin you bro. you arent that important

just tried buying some of localbitcoins through bank transfer but the seller wanted ID as I was a new customer, fuck that for game of soldiers!

you should look for someone who accepts cash deposits at a bank of their choosing. I dont see why they would need your ID

All they will ask for is a picture of your receipt from the bank with a handwritten note saying something along the lines of

"I am actually the person who made the deposit"

and they release the coins to your account pretty fast usually

again, this is all in the US. I dont know if its different in the UK but I highly doubt it. You guys have banks over there right? lol

Usually online bank transfer is fine, lbc have escrow, just deal with someone with good feedback and there shouldn't be a problem, transaction done in 5 mins max

I have used Local bitcoins for months... bought drugs guns uranium and haven't had any problems

not entirely though. More to do with China and foreign countries imo

the IRS taxes can be avoided if you dont cash out your coins if you smell what Im saying

alt coins, drugs, uranium apparently.

all can be bought with bitcoin and arent going to be taxed

Had to unapprove a bunch of posts. Unfortunately, naming deep web sites still counts as vendor discussion, so we'll have to keep this thread to discussion about the coin only I'm afraid.

Yeah but we ain't all self important wankers who like to gloat...

If you think you've done well with BTC then have a look at the charts for DRK over the last month ;)

as volatile as ever.

Value forecasts

Financial journalists and analysts, economists, and investors have attempted to predict the possible future value of bitcoin. Economist John Quiggin stated, "bitcoins will attain their true value of zero sooner or later, but it is impossible to say when."[96] In 2013, Bank of America FX and Rate Strategist David Woo forecast a maximum fair value per bitcoin of $1,300.[106] Bitcoin investor Cameron Winklevoss stated in 2013 that the "mall bull case scenario for bitcoin is... 40,000 USD a coin".[107] In late 2013, finance professor Mark Williams forecast a bitcoin would be worth less than ten US dollars by July 2014.[108]

If they plummet to less than $10 next month i might buy a few. $637 currently, not a cats chance im going anywhere near at that sort of price.

They've hit over $1,000 before (Why are you talking in dollars???)

Might go higher this time, considering more people know about them now...

Why don't you gamble something now, just a few quid... ;)
