Yeah, I do like alcohol. Could be why I liked it so much. Your 1,5-zos definitely sound interesting!
 
Well, add a triazolo ring -(zolam) it has no a1 affinity which is why most hypnotics are simple 3-ring benzos. More modern ones are if anything worse, in effect they give you enough of an anxiolytic so you fall asleep. Not that temazepam ever worked for me. I used it as a mixer - 6 in a G&T.

Temazepam isn't very bitter, but they would site at the bottom of the glass and fizz. It was aesthetic as much as anything. But I put circa 100mL of Bombay Sapphire into a half-pint glass, ass tonic and slice of lemon - the acidity made them fizz a little more.

They were free - a gift, so I was OK with it. Now I would swap them for something else.

I was presuming people had a BASIC understanding of how alcohol is made and bottled. I credit them with SOME intelligence.

In the UK at least, gin is distilled twice. Once as grain neutral spirit and again with 'botanicals' so 96% alcohol is used to extract the oils. But if it's being diluted to 40% alcohol, they cannot add as much or the oils separate out when diluted so if your final gin has a higher alcohol content, you can add more 'botanicals'.,

So in their wisdom - they KNOW the process so they KNOW how many oils will dissolve in the final product.
 
Can anyone advise on general availability of benzos at the moment and what kind of thing would be good as a trip killer? I'm not using them regularly, only as a trip killer and don't want anything that will knock me out, just something that will make it possible to sleep after LSD.

I had some Etizolam before that did the trick but I'm not sure if it's as available anymore? I've seen it listed for sale but don't fancy getting something else unwittingly.

I've seen lots of "blister packs" but I assume that doesn't mean they are real prescription quality, is it likely that doses in these will vary a lot or possibly be overdosed?

I also wonder if there are any reagent tests that can be used on benzos?

This is a strange question afaic.


I realised many moons ago that if I needed to kill my trips, I shouldn't be tripping in the first place...

Has anyone tried or tested Alprazolam 1mg - Aran Pharma (75pills/box) from *snip*? Were they ok etc.

Axe - no sources allowed. But you can ask about the brand. Better to send one to WEDINOS though.

Alprazolam works well if you can get it

I agree completely, maybe trip-killer is the wrong term, is more for helping me sleep when the LSD has worn off. Sometimes I'm at 15 hours and unable to sleep.

Not from your neck of the woods but also need something for sleep long after a trip is over but I am still bug eyed. I use etizolam, but as you said it is hard to get now. I never wanted any of the stronger ones. Recently tried bromazolam. Reminds me of a faster hitting and shorter lasting diazepam but seems to work as long as alprazolam or etizolam at lower (1-2 mgs) doses. Have not tried it after a trip but I imagine the muscle relaxation would be glorious after being high on acid all day. Didn't get any bad vibes from it. lol

I too wait until 12-15 hours after LSD. About 7 hours after mushrooms. Never during the trip as for me they do completely tone it down. I only want it for the very end but am still stimulated. Shorter acting benzos let me still have an afterglow of the trip the next day. Longer ones not so much. Any etiz I got is saved for that.

Use to be able simply smoke cannabis and go to bed and fall asleep. Later in life i used alcohol, then opiates, then benzos. And opiate and benzos lol (the drug addict I am)

20mg Temaze, 15mg diaz or 2mg aplraz for me in that situation

Again like others I'd only do it 12 hours plus into lsd...I always find that riding out the challenging moments of a trip brings glorious rewards, but as always horses for courses

.5 of alprazolam or 1.5 mgs of etizolam works for me. I take 300mgs of gabapentin along with it because I think gabapentin totally potentiates benzos. I throw some kratom along with that and I have my crash pad. :)

Honesty as fast as I feel the muscle relaxation from bromazolam I am totally looking forward to use it for this purpose.

Yeah, benzos make for a much smoother landing. The speed comedown and after effects used to so brutal before I discovered benzos. My anxiety would go through the roof, and it made my general mood unstable. It still didn't stop me going for more so many many times though.
