E*lectric Eels & related products

There was a case involving the manufacture of 2C-B in NSW some years ago that relates to your question. Dr Shulgin was even brought in as a witness for the defence. A link to that case was provided by Biscuit in the Neodoves II thread. Here's the link, but it's now dead unfortunately.

Edit: there was also a case in Qld in the late 90s - early 2000 iirc, concerning the importation of MBDB at Mooloolaba. I know they changed legislation after this incident, but I'm pretty sure the people were charged with importation of something. It was big news back then.

Would each state have a seperate analogue act? If so do all states and territories have one? If not does the one federal act cover the whole of Australia? I am also struggling to find anything on the subject
 
^to my knowledge the analogues act is a federal act. I'm not sure about state specifics.

Federal means it covers all of australia.

danny: If you havnt received an international express courier package, likely it has been seized. Usual delivery times are just a few days from most locations south of the equator. China/Hong Kong takes 2 days for most things. Places like eastern europe and stuff take around 8.

If you got a tracking number, check that, it'll say it's "awaiting clearance for delivery processing" if its in customs.
 
the majority of people on here singing the praises of these "legal" highs seem to have very low post counts......propaganda?
 
Yeah, am interested to see what rogan reports. Can honestly say I don't think I'd ever bother trying the things. Why substitute for a weaker product...
 
^^^ perhaps they are genuine greenies and these 'legals' have been their introduction in to the world of psychoactive substances! it will only take them one time to disregard the label dosage warnings and they will be brought to the dark side ;)

i hold respect for these 'legal' products - treat them right and they can be very enjoyable, treat them bad and they'll show their poison! You just need to understand that they can't be used on the same frequency as the common street gear
 
I'll probably give the eels a test in about a month with a BL veteran and we'll report back results. I'll weigh them up, photograph powder, reagent test, the whole works. I'm wondering how much of the dosage warnings is due to the ingredients other than the main active, like caffeine, DMAA, etc?

Let me know how you fare rogan :)
 
the dosage warnings are there for a good reason - half the problem with peeps who have issues with them take more than advised (quantity & frequency), mix with other drugs, drink alcohol etc ... i found out the hard way!
 
I'm so impatient: I ordered 2 of each, express post so they should be here Monday. I'm not expecting much. I'll try them out during the week and report back :)

I'm a genuine greeny, the only reason I signed up to bluelight was because this thread was the first time I had something to offer the community, being my self testing of these products. I strongly discourage anyone taking more than 2 of these things, I had 3 of them, the first 2 double dropping, along with about 10 beers, and the next day I had one of the worst hangovers of my life, worse than times I've had alcohol poisoning (I'm a heavy drinker), and ALOT worse than the time I went through 8 pingers over about 4 hours at a music festival.

Edit: I forgot to mention, out of all the substances I've had, I've never had a problem having sex afterwards, but these things were an absolute killer. Had to wait atleast 18 hours after consumption to be able to do anything, which can be fucking annoying.

Federal laws only apply to federal charges, don't they? So if you got busted for possession you would be charged under the relevant state laws, however if you got caught importing something from overseas you would be charged under federal laws.

I know QLD has an analogue law, it's very broad though, too broad. Anything that has a pharmacological effect or similar effect on you to an illegal drug is considered an analogue. Hell, under that definition you could consider alcohol an analogue of any controlled GABA-ergic substance.

Which ones did you have and when? I have now had around 30 of these things in the last few months. Ive noticed that the only ones that go well with alcohol are the eels. The first eels I tried didnt go very well with alcohol the next day! I felt sick pretty much all day. They advised me that they changed their formula completely and the ones I have had since then seem to be fine (also notice they are now snortable). I am also a heavy drinker and always drink all night with any drugs. The latest eels I have had seem to actually go pretty good with alcohol. Last friday night I had 2 eels over 6-7 hours along with 3/4 bottle of scotch and roughly 8 drinks at a club. Had a pretty clean hangover the next day and didnt have any trouble having a few hours sleep. Also the sex thing is exactly the opposite for me. I have found the latest ones to greatly enhance sex. Find your experiences vs mine pretty interesting. Anyone else have comments on sex while/after being on them?
 
Got 1g of electric eel powder, racked up about 2 points for a friend and within 10 minutes he was very visibly munted...had stuff to do so didn't indulge, though did have a few lines of E*JECTION (DMAA). I don't know if anyone else has experienced it but when you've been up for a few days on meth DMAA just gets rid of sketchy/paranoid feeling while still giving you a slight charge. By itself tho DMAA is a bit of a crap drug. Very keen to try the eels ASAP.

The friend that tried them isn't exactly inexperienced with drugs being at the end of a four day bender of speed/mdma and rated that one line as being better than double dropping a high MDxx pill. Though curiously he said it was smooth to snort...being too scattered to find the bag I tried to snort an Electric Eel capsule and that was probably one of the worst things I have ever tried to snort - looks like the caps have over 500mg so prob a lot of cutter. Better off getting as powder.

The importation of the products i was referring to is a federal offense. Therefore federal laws apply to importing analogues of known psychoactives.
