drugs that you did and immediately said never again

Yohimbine for sure. I've done plenty of drugs, and most of them are pretty enjoyable, or they at least have some effect that makes doing them again worthwhile. But yohimbine just made me feel sick and super antsy, like a skin crawling type feeling. The effects honestly felt a lot like opiate withdrawal.

In the 1960's I was part of a drug study and encountered Ditran, which was an absolutely horrid experience.
I just had a memory from years ago, I believe the pranksters called Ditran "the bummer". I think I remember reading in The Electric Kool-aid Acid Test. Very vague memory but easy to look up, although no telling where my copy of that book is.

I’ve always thought yohimbine could be a good antidote to xylazine overdoses (as it is used for this in animal anesthesia).

I tried some in high school but never took it far out of fear, and it didn’t seem to be worth the risk.

Since this thread has all kinds of drugs, I do have a few others that I am sure of. I had quetiapine twice and trazodone twice. Fell asleep but the next day was sort of blunted. That was some years back. So never again. Diphenhydramine I tried a few times when I was sick as a medicine at therapeutic dosages and also felt blunt part of the next day.

I tried yohimbe a few times, but I put it and ephedrine in the never again category. They seem similar. A strong cup of ephedra tea is pure anxiety for me and no focus. Shakes.

Truly one and dones:
Ibogaine
IV opiates
Loperamide
Salvia
DPH
Propylhexadrine
Nutmeg
Bupropion (abuse)
Khat

Drugs that I did once and said I would never do again..... but did:
Synthetic cannabinoids
LSA seeds
4-HO-DET
4-HO-PCE
PCP (real old-school Cali shit)
DXM
Kava
Fentanyl
MDPIHP & other pyros
Nifoxipam
Alcohol...

Other than that I've not had any other negative drug experiences, and I've done it all.
can you elaborate on the ibogaine and why it was not a good fit?

You def would not be the first person, but again I'm super interested in the indole alkaloids... I find them fascinating tbh.
