drugs that bring you down to earh

I completely agree with the OP-- The aftermath of a Salvia trip is very down to earth. It's like being put back in alignment with What Is. It's not happy, or comforting, or satisfying, it just is Truer.

Iboga quite literally is Down To Earth. If you do it you'll see what I mean.

psychedelics (+salvia) always leave me feeling a bit "spacey" or out of it afterwards, but mdma really brings me down to earth. after mdma it's like "this is the world and i'm right here in the middle of it"
also tobacco is worth a mention here. when feeling a bit out of it smoking ime always helps me stay grounded. that could of course be the action of smoking rather than the tobacco, but for me it definitely works.

mescaline, or more accurately the sacred cacti, are very very grounding. in both experience, as well as after-effect.

it aligns my spirit with my body, mind, and emotions :)

a drug to see things as they are? drugs alter perception generally; medications are made for those who need something to see things as they are. maybe im misreading the question.

i find i see things best the way to see things the way they are w/ no drugs.. maybe some pot and a low dose amp or a threshold dose of L. for enhancement .idk man..

not sure i fully comprehend what you mean

Nothing is as it is. REality is an illusion. Drugs don't randomly happen to fuck up your perceptions and medications dont show you things for "what they are".

BDD isn't really the place to discuss psychedelic drugs.[/QUOTE]

what if i said that oc brings me down to earth, its a basic drug discussion :)

mushrooms
lsd
thc

havnt had the pleasure of sampling yet, but i imagine peyote would bring that earthly vibe / presence

I was wondering if someone had an experience with a drug that lets you see things as they are

Your question is a tough one for coming up with a valid answer.

First, let us define what "down to earth" really means.

You say, "an experience with a drug that lets you see things as they are". See things as they are? ... How are things? Do we even know? We could guess, but anyones guess would be invalid because they are only subjectively referring to their own perspectives when they tell you how things are as opposed to how things really are in an objective reality. Does an objective reality even exist? There's no such thing as a right or wrong answer. Anyone who is confident enough to declare they know a drug that can 'bring you down to earth' because they 'see things as they are' is foolishly arrogant. :)

Now I'm sure some drugs more then others will have higher potential of giving you the satisfaction your seeking. Experience is the only the only way to find out how things will affect you.

That solves the case. Someone could say OC brings them down to earth, another could LSD brings them down to earth. Even so more someone else could say both do, while the other can claim none of them do. But if the majority of people report a drug to be 'down to earth', keep in mind that your mileage may vary and it may be challenging to replicate the exact scenarios down to perfection every time. You would need to have a consistent dosage, with corresponding set and settings, and similar situations to be able to possibly repeat an experience with precision. There are so many variables in this scenario that I would simply call these kinds of things in general, unknown.

What do you mean by "down to earth"?

At first I thought you meant present in your body and relaxed and herb and opiates can do that to me and when I've used stimulants I was super focused, alert, and intense about everything that was going on and what I was doing.

Even getting drunk can make me feel relaxed and sorta take away the blinders or I've seen booze do this to other people when they drink or get drunk. I've seen people who took ecstasy like this as well.

LSD and mushrooms are pretty spacey to me.

any drug / bad trip makes you down to earth, that you're fucking up your body and time with drugs..
