Doctors really look at you differently once your diagnosed substance abuse disorder, like your an alien.
That's very true. I have "drug abuser" written all over my medical records after admitting my addictions to my doctor, and now there are certain drugs that I'll never be prescribed - opiate painkillers, benzos, amphetamines, and even certain types of anti-depressants! The only reason I'm still being prescribed diazepam is because I'm tapering down, and stopping abruptly would probably kill me.
