Drugs that are hard to get in Australia

Hey all,

I havn't been on bluelight for YEARS but came across this thread and thought i would put my 2c in.


SUPER suprised to see people mention weed - especially with medical now but that those posts are relatively old.

Sydney:

The drugs I find hard (if not impossible without going online) to source :
REAL xanax i.e. alprazolam (Got an online vendor but I am not a huge fan anymore, always memory loss no matter the dose)
PCP for sure - I fkn wish. Closest I've had is 3meopcp
The golden RC's: 4mmc (mephedrone), MXE (Worldwide thing more or less I think ), Hexen, Bkmda (Methylone), MDVP + all manner of novel RC's
Qualudes
Non-meth amphetamine e.g. euro-speed (But at least we have dexxies)
Opium (Poppy seeds easy tho)
4-Methylaminorex (4-MAR, 4-MAX) - My personal holy grail and would FUCKING LOVE to just try it properly once or twICE (thrICE, fourICE...) ; what I would give for this to be as popular as fucking meth is - THIS should be what "ice" is

***If I'm wrong about any of the above, bar alprozolam, please let me know! Not sourcing, but would love to know if I should keep my feelers out

Weed is easy
Meth is easy (hate the shit for what it's done to some of my mates)
Heroin is easy enough with right contacts (I have rarely indulged)
Oxy easy enough for me, but as with all pharmaceuticals you just need to get lucky and find the right person - over the past 15 years it generally goes in cycles where I found a source or two, they lose their script, find someone else... etc. (I have a hard rule, it's not worth more than $1/mg - I laugh so hard when someone trys to offer me endone for $200 like fuck off)
Pharmies - as I said it comes and goes e.g. morphine easy as piss for me the last 10 years, but would be a bit of a fuck around now. But tramadol, lyrica, dexxies/vyvanse, ritalin ... easy.
Ketamine easy
2cb comes and goes but atm would be hard for me
lsd - if I got back in the right circles easy, but a bit out of the loop
mushrooms - easy enough
coke - easy ; I can even get relatively good stuff but it's fucking pricey

For me, 25mg of 4-MAR didn't do much (later I learnt people smoked it) but 50mg felt soewhere between amphetamine and MDMA. Or possible dexamphetamine. You know that odd 'full of energy but can easily sit and chill' feeling only pharmacutical dexamphetamine produces.

I think it was briefly popular because there was a window in which PPA was available AND chemists learnt that the toxic BrCN could be replaced by the much safer KOCN.

It's the best stimulant, I guess, but it causes heart-valve damage in long-term users. A lab in the US got busted and all 3 people they arrested turned out to have heart damage. They broke rule 1, I guess.

I've never been off the east coast of the United States personally, but I've obsessively combed through drug testing databases like drugsdata and found Australia to seem wicked dry. Even making ayahuasca out of local plants seems tough, as many people on the DMT-Nexus have found. There are some aussies on the Shroomery though so there must be some fungal enthusiasts on the island somewhere. Interestingly, ALEPH-1 and DOI have both circulated there ~20 years ago iirc, likely as "fake acid" I would guess. Just odd to see drugs that are rare everywhere else and are far from trivial to synthesize showing up in Australia.

I have had the pleasure of smoking 4-MAR twice in my life and it is amazing. Exactly as described above, like smoking meth without any of the negative 'methy' shit that goes on its just a constant relaxed euphoric high that lasts so long. I was having a burn (smoking a bowl) once every 5+ hours. Unfortantly, that source is in prison now, his way of obtaining PPA was rather amusing (and smart) but unfortunately, i can't go into that.

Nimetazepam is fantastic as well.

I believe PPA was used as an animal food additive in some nations. No idea if this is related to how your friend obtained it but certainly an ODD source.

Then again, SO many myths propagate around drugs and drug use, I'm only stating that I seem to remember reading it IN a poultry keeping magazine about 30 years ago. I know, 'What Chicken' isn't exactly a riveting read, but that was the only periodical on offer and was marginally better than staring at the wall. But only MARGINALLY you understand.

Now that I've quit the scene and settled into a job role, I really don't have to worry about sourcing. I won all the drugs through Govenor General and didn't get them yet, so I'm Skeptical about obtaining then all. I could probably ask work if I wanted to do it but they only ever query harm reduction, there is a meth incentive available for breast cancer research that I passed up.
But, I can get into Oxycodone and valium and tramadol and Temazepam and lead a good life. When I buzzed on them with the high dose meth it was something else.
