I don't think I ever played that one but I did play other Tony Hawks games...
However, I owned a Dreamcast & had Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX. Awesome game.

^ Shit that brings back memories, I miss that game, I remember always wanting it when I was younger before I actually bothered to get more than a couple games for my own PS2, and I'd play it over at my friends whenever I got the chance.
I kind of fancy a skating game now - don't suppose you guys know which of the games out today would be the best bet to replace that? Looking for open world as I seem to remember Underground was open world stuff, which is what I liked about it, I see a lot of those skate games where it's just separate trials and stuff, no free roam, kinda ruins the point for me.

EA's Skate series is the last one I was in to. I'm not sure what the latest one is, Skate 3 or 4 maybe. Good games, much much harder than Tony Hawk's though.

Yeah, a lot different to tony hawks. You have to use the analogue sticks to control the rotation of the board. Free rpam on it is good. I ended up sessioning random street spots for days.

Ah forgot to mention, I'm limited to PC. I do have an old PS2 too, but otherwise no console - and my PS2 only likes to run certain disks so I'm not buying anything new for it. PC is a beast though

I got a bonus pay and a finders fee this month. I should really buy a PS4, as has been the plan for some months now. But, Sunset Overdrive looks amazing, and I'm having doubts, do I need persuading not to buy a bone instead?
What should I do, oh gamers of EADD? (a very stupid option would be to buy both, which will inevitably happen sooner or later anyway...)

I've not been that impressed with it either, but I don't think I've played a game that hasn't been developed for the PS3 as well. So it's just a PS3 game with slightly better graphics.

I bought mine for Battlefield 4. Great game, but the upcoming one looks shockingly bad. I tried the beta and first impressions were not at all positive

you can download a PS2 emulator man, pcsx2 works good i just downloaded the first kingdom hearts and it works fine plus you can set up hd graphics and shit

I've just ordered a white PS4, which I should be getting on Tuesday. Early Christmas present to myself... %)
I used to own a PS3 but sold it... not too fussed about some franchises still being on PS3, although bit irritating it'll be a long wait for GT7.
I'm getting a free copy of The Last Of Us Remastered with it & have just bought Assassins Creed Unity. Looking forward to both... played some AC in the past at friends but will be my first proper introduction to that genre. Never played The Last of Us but watched the IGN review & it looks amazing.
In terms of what I'm waiting for, GT7 as I said, FFXV & Uncharted 4. Sure there will be other big games coming out next year I'm not up with. Not currently decided on COD: Advanced Warfare yet. I was a real fan of CODMW2/3 on the PS3... especially the Special Ops mode... does it have anything similar?

it has opium fields with ganja plants and also is bloody scary and ultra realistic. It is quite fucked up playing as a team online and shooting people taking over buildings, can be frustrating but also very exhilrating.

I gave up playing CS because my reactions have gone to shit... hard adjusting from being a top scoring player to being mediocre. Just didn't feel worth it anymore. Sold my desktop PC to buy a 42" TV, so not like I can play it anymore anyway. My laptop can probably run it but I never liked playing games on laptops.
Insurgency does look pretty interesting though. I would imagine if I was still a PC gamer I'd have it. Last game I played on the PC was Tomb Raider... was a really good update to the franchise.

insurgency makes csgo feel like an arcade game, the maps are much bigger and the games are more fluid, it depends a lot on wether the other players are shit or not, if you play with people you know and are a bit organised it can go well, if you end up playing with a bunch of randoms who run off and dont know the map or don't know how to play as a team then you end up getting your arse kicked by the other side.
The sound effects and graphics as a whole make it very absorbing and terrifying at times. I feel quite knackered after half an hour or an hour on it. It also feels a bit sick because you know people are actually out in iraq and afghanistan getting killed doing it for real.
Definately the kind of game that should put anyone off wanting to join the military haha.
