I have had a nightmare of a week to be honest.
I tried to stop while also doing a course (To be a volunteer in my city).
A few times I had to leave the course because I had to be in the toilet being sick, I simply had to go and get some alcohol to stop it..simple as that. I couldn't function.
I did have some alcohol in the morning just hoping I would be OK, but during the day my body was just feeling so bad and physically sick.
I missed a few parts of the course and had to repeat them.
I told my girlfriend last night about this, of course she knows I have a problem but I have been trying my best to hide it.
I managed at the very most 36 hours without alcohol and that was crazy..the sweating, shaking, alertness (In a bad way, every noise and sensation seemed amplified)...give me weekend speed bender comedown any day from this (Years since I took speed).
The first thing I think of when I am wanting to stop, is do I have enough to help me in the morning / afternoon when it hits me.
