Drugs And Parents [MEGA-MERGED]

keep a log of how many pills you ingest and how many pills you have left. i do that since i leave my adderall and xanax and ritalins downstairs in the cabinet but my parents are old and against drugs so they wouldnt take any. i keep a log of how much i ingest and the time i ingest and a coundown of how manyi have left (ocd????) ex: 10 am 1mg xanax 88 left (from a script of 90 .5 mg) and i add up the total amount i take every day and average how much i take a week.
 
thats what i call them.... pill nazis haha. no, seriously, i do have a real problem with opiates, my parents have stopped keeping them at the house!! so no more searching. but my brother has about 100 valiums hid somewhere of mine. mabye time to go searching. and yeah i have a real good reason to take them, i broke my back a year ago and get pretty bad pain! but i have no outside souce to get any pills or h!! it f-ing sucks and plus on disability you dont have much money to spend on drugs when ur medical bills are more than 3 times what the government gives me. shit i need a lortab guess ill have to talk to daddy :( oh yeah im 21 and the only reason im living at home is because of health insurance!!
 
I remember years ago, I had a nailbed excision for an ingrown toenail. As the toenail was yanked and so forth, it was a lil bit painful. I was scripted T3, and my mom went to get the script.

I was suspicious when the meds came back as the pharmacy bag they staple the pill vial in was absent. So, I counted the T3's and discovered that my mom had pinched a few from me. Pretty immature behaviour, considering I was in legit pain.
 
When I was younger my parents forced me to go on Anti-Depressants. I was very opposed to medication back then so they would watch me each morning and night to check wether I took my dose. Prozac came in capsules and I would open up the capsule, empty out the Prozac powder, and take the empty pill.

They never found out until I told them a year later.
 
The mother of a friend of mine used to feed him his Ritilan prescription with a spoon because if she didn't he would take it from her and snort it.

I'll probably get flamed, but if you're likely to abuse the drug and you're of an age to be living in your parents' home, then I'd say they have more than every right to control whatever aspect of your life they see fit. If it doesn't suit your style and you feel they have no right to do so, then the alternative is to set out and set up a life and home of your own.

There's a reason your parents are controlling your script, and I'd say one fairly compelling reason is the fact that you're posting on a drug website along with the rest of us who use legal and illegal substances for recreational purposes. It suggests you have a history, or at the very least more than a passing interest in drug use for more than medical purposes.

Please don't hate on me, but it's the truth.

My mom locks all of the pills in her closet, sets an alarm, and makes me open my mouth after swallowing to make sure I actually swallowed it. Even with crap like tylenol. It's annoying as fuck.
 
i chose to let my parents do all this shit, i knew that i couldnt control my addiction! but my parents went to the doc with me and the doc told them to give me what i am prescribed... no more no less. so they are being alright now.....but they still dont know about the 90 benzos i get every month!!!
 
my mom did this to me too, but with just cause... she found my stockpiles (mostly wellbutrin & ritalin, those were the only things that worked for me in high school). every morning she'd give me my single dose and watch me take it.

OH yeah this pissed me off-- when I was 18 i had a certain personal 'girl' problem that i had to have a procedure for, and i didn't talk to my mom about that kind of stuff... anyway the doc gave me a script for vicodin, and i took it to the pharmacy. what are the odds, my mom got back to the pharmacy to pick up our other scripts, and what do you think they gave her? my vic. imaging my surprise, i go to the pharmacy, and they say "oh, it's just been picked up..."
shit.
mom's at home..."what do you need THAT for?" i told her i couldn't tell her, she just needed to trust me that i needed it. she said she'd already flushed it down the toilet.
so i had to call my doctor and tell the story and try to get a replacement script :-p wonder if they believed me? well, thankfully they did it anyway.
