"My Life In The Bush of Ghosts" Brian Eno & David Byrne....

Lie back shut your eyes & open your mind this record makes for quite a intense trip....lovely

My advice is nature music.... Personally i find this music the best while tripping. Ocean shores, spring mornings, rain storms, etc. Listening to this while outside looking at nature will surly give you a feelings inside that you didn't know was possible. Also any type of relaxation and meditation music does the trick as well... good luck

On my last LSD trip like a week ago i listened to some Astral Projection, Pink Floyd, Infected Mushroom, Lords of Acid, Jimi Hendrix, & some Psy. It was all great! Music and LSD are like Peanut butter & Jelly. I enjoy music on LSD far mroe then on MDMA.

aphex twin
explosions in the sky

godspeed you black emperor
radiohead

What Pink Floyd albums do you have. Some of the obscure onea are really good. Atom Heart Mother is a really good one. Perfect.

I guess anything you'd enjoy sober would be great on acid, but personally I enjoy Dream Theater (particularily Erotomania from Awake, all of Scenes From A Memory, Under a Glass Moon from Images & Words, and I dunno, maybe Pull Me Under), Liquid Tension Experiment (Paradigm Shift, Universal Mind and Acid Rain), some Vai (all of the album Passion & Warfare, very good CD).

Well, Radiohead... definitely OK Computer.
Of Montreal always puts me in a good mood, too.
And Sigur Ros is hauntingly beautiful, great to listen to while starting to come down.

Depends on the genre...

Goa/Psy-trance is ALWAYS good.
Tool, APC, or Pink Floyd for rock
If you want electronic music, but something a bit darker, Celldweller is good :)

If you're looking for something along the lines of what you mentioned, I think that Jefferson Airplane will be right up your alley.
hells yes!

the jeff is so nice on lsd, isn't "somebody to love" (i think thats the title) in fear and loathing..?

we also listened to DnB such as pendulum and infected mushroom, but that might be a bit to much audio-stimuli for a person on lsd.

stoner, hippy music of the 60s/early 70's

What are some of your favorite psychedelic/marijuana influenced songs of the flower power era? Crystal ship by the Doors, comes to mind..... amazing song to listen to while high.

too many to list, i go through phases, beatles is usually good stoner music and zeppelin, the doors is good drinkin music, hendrix/floyd/yes/mahavishnu orchestra good tripping music..even some sitar music

How about I just list some bands I like from that era, that will trip you right out.

Music Emporium, 13th Floor Elevators, Cream, Big Brother & the Holding Company, The Electric Prunes, Frank Zappa, CAPTAIN BEEFHEART =D, The Incredible String Band, Jefferson Airplane, Pearls Before Swine, Quicksilver Messenger Service, The Velvet Underground, The West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band... I could go on and on

Oh yesss, music from that era is the bulk of what I listen to, and if you didnt recognize any of those bands I listed, check 'em out man. Half those bands only put out 1 or 2 albums, and they can be found easily on Amazon.
