the flaming lips-yoshimi battles the pink robots

It's the best thing I've heard while tripping... its amazing

or anything by shpongle

Generally listen to psy-trance... However some of the more psychedelic stuff produced by the beatles (such as strawberry fields forever and i am the walrus) has also done the trick at times. Especially on shrooms :)

On Ketamine, the only thing I like listening to is hiphop..It just goes so well with it because of the synergy with the lyrics and the trip. It feels like the rapper is actually talking to me. I once listened to the Cannibal Ox album in a K-Hole.

have you ever listened to thier album "Zaireeka". It is four different discs, all of the same songs, but they all add different layers to the song, and it is totally different to listen to one, two, three or all four at one time. incredibly ambitious musical endevour.

anyways, it is definitely a "tripping" album :)

Always appreciate a bit of Pink Floyd whilst on acid, though been listening to a bit of Radio Head too recently and must say I do appreciate them more now, not their biggest fan I'll admit.

Probably DnB, though I am open to other types of dance music, whlist on MDMA or even K for some reason, though I certainly ain't doing no dancing!

On E happy hardcore, it is so sweet and high paced...

On K, usually astral projection or Tiesto:)

On acid is all about infected mushrooms

I am merging this thread with the already exsisting music/tripping thread. in the future, please search before starting a new topic that is routinely discussed.

pink floyd, the beattles, the doors, david bowie, shpongle, bjork, and whatever else tickles my fancy in the heat of the moment.

Pink Floyd - Live at Pavillion de Pigs Paris

On 2 seperate cd's, an awsome mix for tripping ;p

The best music i've ever listened to when tripping was calm relaxing nature music and sounds. The best way to experience this however is not inside because it will not have the same effect. Have a portable radio or cd player sitting outside in nature and listen to the sounds of nature songs and you will feel beyond connected to nature

ambient temple of imagination :) surprised nobody's mentioned that yet...

amorphous adrogynous
future sound of london

capsula - synthesis of reality - anyone heard?

padmasana

pink floyd

phutureprimitive

biosphere

pete namlook

global communication

a lot of psy-trance

Trip Music???

I'm taking a double hit of LSD with a buddy of mine and I'm looking for some new trip music to really set our trip off right. We'll have some Pink Floyd, Jimi Hendrix, Grateful Dead, and Led Zeppelin... but I'm looking for something I haven't tripped to yet. Anyone have any suggestions?

If you're looking for something along the lines of what you mentioned, I think that Jefferson Airplane will be right up your alley. I tripped yesterday, and am listening to them right now, and they capture the aching beauty of psychedelia like no other band. Sounds like you're in for an interesting journey... I also recommend Rush; a lot like Zeppelin, but much more technical and "progressive" and conceptual.
