haha i have a phish show that i put on every time i get coked up its:
11/27/98 they play wipeout and its phat and then in the second set i think they play chalkdust torture>mirror in the bathroom>chalkdust torture. thats def my favorite coked up combo. i really like listening to really fast versions of llama, usually appearing in the begining of sets.
also casey jones by the dead (obviousley) and i really like beck when im high on coke.

another chance - roger sanchez

although i love it when im drunk or ripped on E aswell=D
just an all around killer song:\

Favorite music on DXM?

I have been tripping on DXM off and on for about 3-4 years now, ever since I 'accidentally' discovered Delsym. I do it about every 4-5 months; its a fun experience, but not one thats at all addicting....

Anyways, last night I took about 500mg of DXM, with me weighing about 115 pounds that worked out to a decent third plateau trip. Now in the past whenever I would do it, I usually would have alot of flashy lights set up to look at (I love the whole double-vision thing and the effect it has on light sources), but I never really put too much thought into the music that I would play. Usually I would just play random songs. But last night I put on a mix by Seb Fontaine and Sander K, followed by Max Graham - Shine....

Once i started tripping hard, the music really took me in. As I lay there I really felt the depth of the music and really felt like I could connect with it, I was amazed I had never felt this kind of connection with music before with DXM.

Anyways, didn't mean to turn this into a trip report, I guess my question is what is your favorite music to listen too on DXM? Do you notice one type of music having more of a connection than other kinds? Just curious as to what other people listen too..

I've had the same connection with music as you're describing only mine was with Pink Floyd - more specifically 'Any Colour You Like' and 'Comfortably Numb', though it's all good.

I used to do DXM pretty often, and always enjoyed traveling through space and time with some good music as the soundtrack to my out of body experiences.

There was one artist that for some reason took me deeper in DXM space than anything else I would listen to, and that is Bob Marley. Now I don't listen to a lot of Bob Marley or reggae normally, but I remember the time "Redemption Song" was stuck in my head for almost a month after listening to it on DXM because it had such a deep impact on me.

Redemption Song
Stir It Up
Could You Be Loved

These songs always make me think of deep DXM-space :) ... I would highly suggest listening to this stuff next time you hit 3rd plateau.

After that I would highly suggest cutting back your DXM use almost entirely.

I've only tried DXM twice. I pretty much like any kind of music on it (well except for classical or country....no drug in the world could make me like that shit!!! Last time I did DXM I listened to Lords of Acid...it was pretty cool.

I really like to watch movies on DXM. I watched The Devil's Advocate one time on it. I've seen the movie already, but it was so awesome on DXM...it sort of blew my doors off ;)

back when i did coke and smoked crack, i liked to listen to New Wave. my favorite song prolly The Icicle Works - Birds Fly.

I like Beck's "Midnight Vultures" because that is honestly one coked-up album. It's like a mesh of delerious dreamlike reality, hollywood parody, and gritty club/dancable beats and rhythms. It's got that coke "attitude," too. And yet, it's good music.

Anyone who owns the album will know what I am talking about!

^^i think i'd like to try that, watching devil's advocate, haven't seen it in a while.

well last dex trip Infected Mushroom was waaaaay too fast.
I like mostly electronic music for robotripping but can't be too fast. fav's are:

Delirium
Ott
Stereolab
Front242
