yes, i get flashbacks when some songs come on quite often really. it happons when i am smoking reef most. i would say they are acid flashes tho.

Xtal by aphex twin will bring it back more than any other song.

they are really quite fun its kinda like dreaming..you have to not be thinking about any thing, just have to be in the music. The second you realize you are flashing, its over.

not a real flashback, per se, however, often if i hear a track i heard at a party where i was off my face on some psychedellic drug, and then hear it weeks later ill instantly remember the experience. ill sit there thinkin damn where was i when i heard this track all i can remember was tripping...

I have flashbacks and reminisce whenever I hear anything from the '98-'00 era, but then again, that's a given...

:)

I just got done talking about this with my psychology teacher.

Any intense emotional experience is transferred into long-term memory and the senses touch, smell, see, hear, are all associated with that memory therefore it reminds you of that experience whenever you hear a specific song / smell a specific smell / see a certain person and your perception of them.

one song in particular that really hits the spot on this for me is aqueous transmission by incubus. I don't have "flashbacks" per se but I get goosebumps and I start to intensely think about that experience. There is no visual distortion or any flashback. It's just a really good memory :)

So if I'm constantly getting an ecstasy high (I roughly get them at LEAST once a week), what does that mean?

i believe it means ur one lucky motherfucker.:\

I often find myself in a very E focussed state of mind after reading through the ecstasy forums here :)

But otherwise yea I find a lot of beautiful euphoric trance music seems to do the trick often.

Yes,

One example of this is when I saw my first String Cheese Incident show last Summer and they performed a segue between songs that felt like a tornado spinning us from song to song. That was on 7g of mushrooms, and months later when listening to them perform a similar thing in my dark room while falling asleep I had the feeling again. Before the flashback I had forgotten I ever felt it in the first place.

Trance gives me some sick flashbacks. My pupils dilate every time I hear Armin van Burren and I get rushes from every little build up in a song.

Im tired of the flashbacks though. Its been three months. Hopefully there will be pills floatin around the club Im going to this weekend.:)

Music (most often with trance) makes me feel different. Even before I started using drugs, one of the main reasons I loved trance was because it can change the way I feel.
