Drug-related tattoos

Does anybody have any drug-related tattoos... either obvious ones or subtle ones? And have you ever regretted it? I'm thinking about getting "Sweet P" tattooed along the inside of my forearm. It's a nickname of mine, but pure crystal meth is also known as "P" where I live, so there's a subtle drug connotation too. What do you think? Good idea or bad idea?

Do you want to be reminded of your drug usage forever though? I mean, I understand it's something you have been through and is and always will be a part of your life, but I almost got the date I first attempted suicide on my arm and I am so glad I didn't because I wouldn't want to explain that to everyone or be reminded of that my entire life. But, it's cute that it's a nickname, but getting names tattooed on you is kind of trashy, IMO. I think it's a bad idea, but maybe that's just me.

dont do that as you might regret it if you cut out the meth in the future...

tatoo's can look good but its best to get them somewhere hideable as people do judge at for instance job interviews in a flipant stereotypical manner. being able to hide a tatoo or show it is more adaptable and therefore there are less drawbacks

i remember a while ago some dude in the lounge posted pics of his tat's which were the molecules of a heap of different drugs - shit like xanax, lsd, heroin and some other kind of things. it had a certain type of appeal but definitely wasn't for me. i'm sure it'd raise some questions in social environments and work situation.

I agree with the others - just think of a day in the future when you're trying to kick it and you're reminded of it whenever you look at your arm. And then there's the social side of it too which others have mentioned.

I like the idea of an LSD molecule as a tattoo. I am not too sure if I would have it done though. Perhaps.

If you're having enough doubts to ask about it on a forum then it's a no ;)
Usually doubt = no
Listen to what your heart is telling you

I had this idea a few years ago when our group of friends finally had access to lsd in our town and it was like some of the best lsd that has ever come around that i have had anyways ive tripped like 30 plus times atleast thats ware i quit counting numbers prolly closer to 90 or 100 times acually but i told a freind the idea and that i wanted to get the tattoo and where on my iner forarm i wanted it and he got it like a few days later same place on his arm and everything now that i look back and i barley do lsd now at all im glad he got it saved me from having to explain that all the time dogged that bullet

so no dont get that tattoo when meth makes ya all gross from years of addiction all yer teeth falll out yer not gona wanna see that tat all the time man

I used to really want a tattoo of the molecular formula of serotonin back when I was using shitloads of ecstasy. I still kinda want that tattoo, not to do with ecstasy though, but the fact its a neurotransmitter that controls mood, happiness etc. Most people say "what the fuck, man?" when I suggest such desires.

A discreet weed leaf tattoo would be cool. Infact thats a must before I die, maybe somewhere near the ankle or something.

i dont got any or really want any as i just use drugs to supplement my life( i like to think atleast haha) and i think a tatto should be a symbol of something more than that. that said a friend of mine has a six pack of Pabs blu ribbon tatted on his chest and i think it looks fucking awesome. ill try to find a pic.

doesnt anyone on here got a shooting spot tat?

I want to get the molecular structure of THC tattooed behind my left ear. the way it looks is perfect for the location. I've been tossing the idea around for a while, I will probably end up doing it, but a drug related tattoo, especially on the neck is something you should definitely think about and weigh the pros and cons of.

can't count how many times i've been in a shop ready to get inked. but every time i thought "damn what if i actually live to be 80 y/o... do i really want a wrinkly tat?" the answer has always been "no."
if you do decide to get it, put it somewhere easily hidden by clothing. there's too many judgmental jerks out there.

A friend of mine got 4-19-43 (bicycle day) tattooed on the inside of his lower lip. It's cool because only people that he tells about it know it's there. He says he often times forgets he even has it

Thanks for the input, everyone! I am still considering it. If/when I get clean, I don't think I'll regret getting the tattoo done... it will just be a reminder of a certain stage in my life and the things I've experienced. Not that different to a photo or something like that.

plus, its your freakin nickname dude. go for it.

I think I shall! I'll post a pic when I finally pluck up the courage to get it done.

Oh, I don't mind that. I'm already pretty trashy. :)

When I was on oxy this weekend I thought getting OC on my front and 80 on the back would be killer.

My friends repping the bud leaf over the heart.

I got a mushroom tattooed on my right hip when I was 15..It was well done, and I don't regret it at all. Psychedelics and drugs in general have definitely shaped who I am as a person. Plus once I'm old and wrinkly I won't be wearing clothes that show my hips!
