Plenty of drug references in music are stupid, it isn't promoting HR it is just a song man. Plenty of rap, shit so much I wont even bother to list any, has stupid ass references to drugs, half of which aren't even due to the rappers even thinking the shit they are saying makes sense its just in the over the top exaggerating style of a lot of the heavy drug using rappers.

Not music, but it really bugs me how many vicodin House does. Even ignoring all the apap, it's far too weak for him anyway, especially since he's a long term user.

I don't listen to much rap, but I've always enjoyed lil' wyte's so-called "Oxy Cotton"

First problem, Oxy Cotton should be Oxycontin

Second problem:

Bout now its 1:30 am - 11 Percocets just entered me
15 minutes from this second - I'll be crawling on my knees

Take another loritab to calm me down and let me see

I highly doubt that consuming a pill containing hydrocodone(loritab) after consuming 11 pills containing oxycodone(percocet) will "calm you down and let you see" lol

Third problem is in the chorus:

Oxycotton, Xanax Bars, Percocet and Lortab
Valiums, Morphine patches, Exstacy and it's all up for grab

Morphine Patches? I think he means Fentanyl Patches which is a fully synthetic opiate much much different than the real, natural opiate Morphine.

Forth and fifth problem:

I prefer the orange's with the black O-C

But I pop 'em with Seroquel like glue, I am stuck

There is no such thing as an orange oxycontin pill with black OC's

and who in there right minds would take Seroquel and oxycontin? Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. Seroquel is an anti-psychotic with no recreational effects. It makes you very sleepy. I guess it would add to the nod if anything but there are much better things for you to consume...like anti-histamines.

I do not trust any drug references in music because most of the stuff is either wrong or misleading. lol the song is still really awesome though. lil wyte's song Acid is a decent tune as well. That is about as much rap music I listen to due to their uniqueness

for almost every song, at least five people say its about heroin

i was tripping at this park loosing my marbles , this dude pulls up with that song blasting out of his car, i dont care much for clapton but it sounded real good then,

he pulls off and theres all this commotion , ended up there was a chicken in the middle of the pond trying to swim with the ducks,

Around here percs can be used as a slang term for any pill that is oxycodone IR. So he could actually be talking about taking 15mg IR's or 30mg IR's instead.

The blue 30mg oxy IRs, some are roxi's, some are other brand name, are almost always called Perc 30's around here, even though they're not percocet.


It's extremely annoying trying to explain to anyone things like this though. One of my friends who has been using dope and oxy longer than me still thinks that the oxycodone in percocet is different than the blue 30's with oxycodone IR, which are all different than the oxycodone that is in OxyContin type pills. He's actually said "After slamming dope so long I don't like pills much, OCs [OxyContin] are alright, but that oxycodone stuff is garbage. It just doesn't get me high anymore." 8) I don't even try explaining it anymore because when I do it turns out that I'm the one who is confused and I'm the one who doesn't know they're talking about, not him. 8)

I think he's still bent on calling OC's synthetic heroin though, so he's really just clueless. :o
