Drug Parties vs. Regular Alcohol Parties

Alcohol parties are lame to me, but then again I don't like alcohol. Drug parties are more fun imo, especially if they're with people you know well.

I've spent 72 hours straight in a same house/flat just shooting up speed and generally tweeking around.

There were only IV speed users around and nothing of it reminded an alcohol fueled party.
 
In my view a party is a party. If there is a tripple kegger goin on with a bunch of liqour, drugs will be there too. So I dont think there is such a thing as a "just alcohol" party.

However I do realise sometimes there are parties jus put on the purpose of everyones rolling or tripping, roll parties, trip parties..etc. Which are fun also.

Give me any ol' party I'll have a good time.
 
Most parties iv been to, drinking is always involved, and people just keep their drugs to themselves. Unless its weed ha
 
depends on the people, the place... ect. what substance you choose to use is situational. for instance.. raves are for ecstasy, and keggars are for beer. both are awesome in their own way. make sense?
 
Why not combine the best of both worlds. A huge supply of piss and drugs for everyone. I love drinking beers on any drug (as long as it isn't dangerous, like K or G)
 
Drug parties fucking rule. Way better than alcohol parties. (Ungoliath posted a good summary of what I think of boozy parties)

Normally if i'm at a drug party I prefer everyone to be on the same drug(S!) so everyone's in a similar mindset. You get the most meaningful interaction that way :) . My favourite type of drug party is a candyflip party.
 
You can't mistake a roll party for an alcohol party, at leas the ones I go to. First, the roll party is pitch black so you can't even see your hand in front of your face for the first five minutes. Second, the music is totally different and their are people twirling bright blink things in the middle of the floor. I LOVE watching drunks that stumble into a roll party.

Almost every party I go to both drugs and alcohol are being used. The only times it's just alcohol, or just one drug (or a couple) in particular, are when it's a close group of my friends only 5> people, which I guess wouldn't really be considered a party, but then again, tripping on some very potent shrooms with a few good friends can be a party all in itself.

I don't really care what people do at parties, I tend not to have them anymore, only randomly for special occasions. I'd rather be able to enjoy myself and not have to watch over everyone, although I always feel the need to do so no matter where I am, I'm just that kind of person.
 
roll partys for th win! coke partys are entertaining if everyone brings there own and your not thinking people are doing all your stuff they have there own. IV coke parties are hilarious to me cuz im real good at hittting the vein while i watch 4 others try for 10 minutes or more.
 
Opiate parties? I bet those are fun... At least the way I see opiates used...

speed, coke, weed, EtOH, are all varying degrees of "more so"

I have fun at any rolling party as long as their is cool people there. As for which party I like more I would have to say it depends on the people, atmosphere, and music.
 
dont really attend parties anymore. mainly i go to smaller gatherings where a group of us all go to someones house and get messy. there will be some only drinking, some rolling, some smoking, me shooting up etc
 
IMO coke parties can be fun, but only with 3 ppl or less (who are all doing coke, no squatters please). The chatting is certainly fun when you're on coke, but what's annoying are these non-participants who b*tch about how much it all sucks.
 
Most of the parties I go to are just alcohol parties with whatever pharms that may be available thrown into the mix (xanax, hydrocodone, adderall, etc.)...and of course, a lot of weed. I only drink liquor because I can't stand beer, so more often than not I find myself being the sole non-drunk at a lot of gatherings. I'm usually pretty baked or nodding out, though, so I have a fun time watching my friends devolve. :)

I'd have to say that I enjoy parties where MDMA is the driving force substantially more than the typical drinking tirade. I'm also very keen to try psychedelics with a group again, but the last attempt with acid went kind of sour. I think it's time for a shrooming social...
 
Here in Northern California, it's pretty normal to roll at drinking parties (since the hyphy movement generally involves e and polydrug use in general, but grew out of hip-hop culture rather than rave culture), and that's probably my favorite. Actual e parties with trance, Vick's, and glowsticks aren't really my thing, but just showing up to a low-key party where everyone's drinking and smoking while rolling with a few friends is amazing. You have great conversations, the music is more interesting, and everyone's personality seems more distinct. If people get overly drunk and belligerent they can be kind of annoying while loved up, but you just have to be selective. And the things that drunk people come up with to do are a bit more creative than what people do just on e.

Depends on the group of people, though. I've certainly been to some awful drinking parties, but I've also been to some amazingly fun ones.

Never been to a general drug party, but I'll be throwing some sort of tripping party on my birthday, so we'll see.
