^ya srsly tho, is anyone pretentious enough to say "sorry no alcohol here" or "get those drugs outta here only drinking here"

I'm talking about the obvious differences between your typical drinking party and your 'other' drug parties.

^
he's talking about the fact that those 2 almost always overlap

sriously never been to a party where there was only one of those 2

Yeah, I go to college, most parties are keggers with a lil weed and maybe some xanax floating around...but that's it. And then there are the drug parties......

Maybe it's different for some people...

thank you...

but srsly i've never been to a party that designates specific drugs as exclusive. plus, fine liquor and dank herb go together like cheese and wine. :D

"get those drugs outta here only drinking here"

uhh, yeah, there are a lot of people like that.

and A LOT of parties make drugs exclusive; many college kids are only comfortable with alcohol, and sometimes pot. it doesn't matter where you go to school, there will be parties where coke just isn't welcome. and i know a lot of my friends would shit if they just saw me spike my arm when velvet underground came on.

my boarding high school had parties where if some crazy unheard of shit showed up most people would have tried it, even though everyone just inteded to drink.

i go to a very conservative college now and though drinking mass amounts of alcohol is completely kosher, most all illicit drug use is giong to warrant an awkward eye by most students. A lot of my friends here don't even like being in the same house as pot.

it's really a matter of that, some alcohol parties will not be welcoming to other drug use, bot never the other way around.

ackward smackward

who gives a shit about people when they got a good buzz going on?

usually people wont bust out their drug on the table , only joints are made for sharing after all

i was just saying that it's not always an acceptable matter for some people.

and sometimes it does matter how other people think/act towards illicit drug use. my roommates and i ate mushrooms at this one party and when their DD found out he started being a real dick (he's a fucking asshole) and kept yelling at them about how it was stupid... well that sure enough lead to a pretty hell-like trip for them. this all happened after i left with my girlfriend. buti had to deal with them when i came back to the room and it fucked me too; it was a weird night.

that's an extreme example but it happens. i guess it's easy for me to see the split because i have a lot of friends who just act like if they're near illicit drugs it will hurt them/end their lives.

pretty nuts i know, anti-drug propaganda really does a number on some people.

I'd pretty much keep away from any large gatherings of people using drugs. I'd rather not be present after someone shoots up an extra blow in the bathroom and turns blue, and then everyone has to decide what the fuck to do. I mean, fuck if I care if it's a drug or alchohol party, the only stipulation for parties is that they shouldn't be sausage-fests (aka they must have lots of ladies, particularily hot, slutty ones).

American people are strange... =D Why does it all have to be segregated?

I mean, its a booze party. Or its a booze and drugs party. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

Personally, I like parties where alcohol is the main lubricant, and people are doing what they want in the background. Generally, booze, coke and pills maketh a party. The only people who don't have a good time when there's coke about are the people who don't have any.

Ah well, I'm off to drink more beer...

From my experience (not super extensive experience though ;), I have found that you have to be in with crowds to go to "drug parties" (i don't go to college/uni etc), but booze parties are obviously severly common.

As many people have stated lots of parties integrate the two aspects, and nowadays it is becoming more accepted for people to use drugs (with the younger generations).

Please forgive me if I am blabbering nonsense, but it's friday night and I've had a few beers! :)

I've gotten to the point where getting drunk just makes me crave a better high, so I just get tipsy and stoned at alcohol parties...I save my other drug use for festivals, clubs and my own personal time.

posting just because i told axl blaze i would come in here

BL parties > any other party :)
