Drug induced Euphoria? What's that?!?

meh, i was actually pleasently surprised by most of the drugs i've done.

I'd done otc drugs like ibuprofen and apap and all that nonsense as a kid when i had an injury or something, or a headache but they of course don't have any noticble effects, sure within the hour some of ur pain is gone but their is no rise to it, you don't actually feel it, no high of any sort. Alcohol was pretty cool the first time i tried it because it made me feel super confident which was awesome, and made everything fun, but still i had to drink a lot of beer or whatever to get to the point i wanted to be at.

Then I was like, how can this tiny bit of powder, make me feel anything. Their's no way, but then sure enough i loved cocaine, it blew my freaking mind.

i always just keep in mind that we are very sophsticated beings and tons of drugs like opiates and cocaine and what not are simply derived from plants which is pretty incredible if you ask me, that the world around us, the nature around us, can actually have an effect on the advanced human brain. A small shrub or poppy plant can get you high, incredible really.

But don't ever expect a drug to pick you up (literally you feel as if you shoot into the sky lol), and all of a sudden you feel like are you and are seeing the world as if you are god lol. Obviously nothing can do that, it's just not realistic. So in a sense maybe you are expecting to much from drugs, but the fact that such small amounts of some chemicals can completely alter your perception on life, even if for a few hours is still pretty impressive and incredible to me.

Most people forget that most drugs are plant derived. Reminds you how close we are to everything here. For a drug to work, it has to bind to specific chemicals in our brains. It is the equivalent of a key fitting a lock. So, it's not like it's some random thing that this happens.

the phrase itself "feel like god" can easily be misinterpreted, it's really not like godlike in the spiritual religious sense, it's just very very very good mood. Probably better mood than any natural stimulus could make you feel. Although even that is still subjective. Some people will tell you that things like sex or winning a lottery is still better feel than any amount of any drug. I can honestly say though that when I first experienced euphoria from coke or mephedrone, it was on par with good sex.
 
It's Pretty Obvious to Me...

The Stronger Opiate/Opioids.. Fentanyl, Heroin, Hydromorphone, Morphine, Oxycodone and even Methadone makes me feel Euphoric. Although I find that Opies derived from Thebaine usually have a bit more of a Stimulant effect as well.

Imagine feeling great about everything the way you feel Physically and Mentally. No worries about anything (and I do mean ANYTHING) an overwhelming feeling that everything is going to be alright. Like you are floating on a cloud. Have you ever had a bad dream as a child and you wake up crying just miserable and your Mother or Father Sing to you or Comfort you in whatever way they happen to do and everything feels ok? Like everything is going to be alright you are safe now? That is how the Drugs I listed make me feel and that is why I have such a big problem with them.

Why would anyone want to live a normal sober life with everyday worries about what you are going to do, how you are going to provide for your family or make enough money to pay the Rent. Worrying about finding "True Love" or if you are doing the "Right Thing". Wondering what the point really is? Always striving for something and when you finally get that "Something" You realize it isn't as great as you thought it was even though you wasted so much of your time chasing after whatever it was.

How is anyone suppose to want to go from the Former to the Latter? How do people expect me or any other Opiate addict to want to go from Perfection back to the Futile Struggles of everyday life?

After reading my post, Maybe you are better off not knowing what Euphoria is. If you haven't Experienced yet.. Stop looking. Otherwise if you do find it, you will be spending the rest of your life trying to find it again every second of every day of your life.

Back in Action...or not?!

Took some 4-FA a few days ago, 170mgs in total - NOTHING!

It could have felt a bit like i somehow took something, but tbh, it was so weak it could also be placebo. And now comes the best part: tried some M1, 250+mgs gelcapped and guess what?

Right, nothing! Same Shit!

Took Kratom every day the last 2-3 weeks, also weed in the evenings, could that play a part in gettin' no goddamn euphoria at all? I should say i feel a bit grounded, like the Kratom made me a bit dysphoric those days.

Could it be possible for neurons/synapses (whatever!) to be down that much, that nothing's happening any more? Someone wrote in this thread about depression and that he also felt no euphoria during this time, even when taking drugs.

I'm really F*CK'D :!:X!
 
I have the exact same problem, was going to start a thread but found this. I have just finished off a bag of crack for the first time, it was the last one on the list to do and like all the others I was completely let down. I have now tried crack, coke, heroin, meth, oxycodone, most cathinones, mdma, ghb and many others. The only reasonably good one was MDMA, I found heroin meth and crack to have basically no euphoria whatsoever just sedating/stimulating effect. Starting to wonder whether my dopamine receptors don't work or something...
 
to me there is induced euphoria like smiling and well-being.
then there is a blissful closed eye center of the universe nod

a true euphoric rush to me is on occasion depending on set/setting.

i also do NOT seem to receive the same effects from MDMA as others act or describe.
and obviously the more a take the more ampy.

Yes, shrooms are well known for that overwhelming euphoria and giggly feeling, but that has only happened to me a couple times, but my friends will feel that way every time. MXE produces zero euphoria so don't be looking for euphoria there. Weed is not usually euphoric either.

The category of drugs well known for euphoria is the one you didn't list having done, Opiates. I can't in good faith recommend you try opiates, due to the potential for addiction, but I will say you're not looking for euphoria in the right places, chemical wise.

MXE can induce a euphoria in lower doses, and weed makes me very euphoric, but 6/10 times, I will not become euphoric. He also listed Kratom and bk-MDMA, both of which are very euphoric, physically and mentally.
 
I noticed nobody here mentioned (probably because its not something very harm reductionish) the euphoria that one might experience when doing a speedball. Ive done damn near every drug on earth except a couple, but my career has yet to take me to the realm of speedballing. I am very curious to what it feels like to do a smash of say a dilly 8 and a point er so of good coke. Ive heard lots about how such a great feeling it is to do a upper and a downer in the same smash. Personally Im not crazy doing coke smashes (even when its good product) dont get me wrong I like it but it doesnt compare to the coming in from outside when its freezing cold and sitting in front of a warm fire feeling when doing a whack of say a dilly 8 or 50 - 80 mg of morphine. So I know its hard to describe the feeling its kinda something you just gotta do try for urself to know what its like. So with that said its would be cool and much appreciated if someone with a few speedballs under the belt to give me an idea the feeling and euphoria you experience when doing a speedball. I have a feeling this topic is nearing the end of its life so if I dont get many responses I might make my own topic about it .Thanks for any feedback =D
 
Yes delaudid did the same for me but I am a strong believer in the fact that everyones chemistry can be different. For me my chemistry is unique Where I am nodding off and cannot barely Type while on a mixture of norco,gabapentin,prozac and Vistaril. Very eupbhoric so much i had to take a 6 hour break on my bed babbling to myself. And im still a little noddy now. Is that a strange mixture?
 
I get euphoria from opiates and thats really about it..
Weed is just a calming dizzy like buzz, benzos are nothing, weed & opiates is teh best Euphoria for me anyway
 
I get a massive overload of euphoria every speedball I do. Holy crap a little ago I shot 100mg coke and 3 dr pepper bags. It blew me to outerspace I orbited mars for a bit and had 99 orgasms all over my body. Speedballs invented euphoria.
 
I'm not looking for substances which're inducing euphoria, i'm looking for a reason why some just don't do it for me.
 
Regardless of what the word "euphoria" means to us individually, I think anyone would agree it's a sad day when that definition goes from whatever it was originally to, NOT BEING SICK.
