Does your dealer tell you to "be safe"?

I've always appreciated this about my dealers, their seemingly sincere interest in my well-being; granted, there are those dealers who merely want you to "stay safe" so that you can continue being their customer and bringing them money, and I see those dealers as well when I have to, but I have one or two dealers who are actually very sincere, very genuine and who do actually care. It's really nice...

Dealers used to say that to me in high school.

Not now though.

If someone said that to me now I'd do a double take and be like "wait, what?" - mainly cuz no one says that shit in my circles anymore lol.

^Ugh, almost all illegal drugs can kill people, stop continuing to give heroin a bad name, it has a bad enough one as it is. BTW, I am not pro-heroin, I am pro-information. With the exception of cannabis, pretty much any other drug can kill or precipitate long-lasting or permanent mental conditions. Hell, might as well make sure the local bartender says to definitely NOT thank him/her, and NOT tip him/her while you're at it.

Dude I know that.
Jesus, I wasn't being entirely serious. I know its hard to decipher sarcasm.
I was just talking based on my weed and psych dealers.. sorry I didn't spell it out 8)
Lol defending heroin... because its name will one day have a good light to it, ok.

One can only hope :p

Lol, doubt it though :p our friends/people we know will keep overdosing and the people drowning themselves in alcohol will still put their nose up to heroin users. Oh well. I wouldn't suggest this drug to anyone... even if it may be less harmful than other substances.

Yeah so, that's nice....the fact that you don't want anyone "smearing the good name of heroin", but how many people have you known that've died from a drug overdose where heroin wasn't involved?

BTW, don't cop out and talk about car accidents and lung-cancer!!

Methadone overdoses are more common I believe, and I've seen people die from serotonin syndrome, blow their hearts on coke, and drink themselves until they never wake up. I've actually never seen a heroin overdose where I live.

I only ever really sold psychedelics, acid, ketamine, mdma and 2c-b mainly. Not really even in it for the profit, but the opportunity arose and it seemed appealing to me at the time. Before selling anything I would always inform them to the best of my knowledge about what to expect, what might occur and how to possibly deal with it. Do's and don'ts, and if any questions arose they shouldn't hesitate to contact me. To me it was more about giving people a great experience. Hell, I make an awful dealer. I hardly took any profit from it, just sold it through for what I paid for it. It paid for my parties thought, and a lot of people were very thankful for a great experience, which was reward enough. I got tired of being the go-to person after a while though, so I quit. Friends who are still goofing around in there are able to supply me with whichever I want for a price which normally only gets offered when taking by the kg, so some good came out of it haha.

Had a friend who sold amphetamine for half a year, but he would just sell it to anyone and assumed that those who didn't know how to be relatively careful brought it upon themselves, which I can also relate to. When dealing with stimulants people WILL fuck up, if you feel the need to take responsibility for another person's fuckup you're in the wrong kind of business then I reckon. Then again, in that area I'd rather be a consumer than supplier. Tweaked out people are not that fun to deal with in my opinion. Tweaking out on the other hand.. ;)

I remember, I used to "give" my friends LSD, MDMA, and Shrooms, and before selling a batch, I'd always try it myself and tell my friends how much to do for where they want to get to, I even talked 3 of my friends out of bad trips.

mine literally lectures me every got damn day i cop from him about how stupid people are and how i have to be safe not to do this and that and blah blah blah blah.

I'm from Pittsburgh and I say it to everyone that plays the game. More or less a reminder that the propensity to get busted or overdose is always there.(This includes every drug) I've been cleaning up my act lately and still find myself telling it to people all the time.

Yeah that's drug dealer talk for: Don't get arrested, and if you get caught, don't snitch on me.

^right-the majority of dealers are not really throwing out kind words of advice for your personal well doing, they're looking out for themselves. However, every once in a while I'll have a dealer who really seems to be an 'okay' guy. These types are usually users themselves (heroin mostly-and crack), and i've even had one dealer call ME because one of his other customers who knows me, was trying to get a hold of me through my cell phone..I also got this other dealer that now hands out clean works, ties, cookers, alchohol wipes etc, and now has started to even throw in extra bags here and there.

Anyway, I guess all that is a bit off topic, I just meant to convey that while many dealers do play up the "friend" act, I do believe that some of them are actually fond of certain customers- I mean they are human after all. And "be safe" doesn't always mean "get out of the hood with out getting arrested", I've had one guy call me up and tell me to shoot less (like 2x less in fact) of the stuff he was giving me because he didn't want me or my girlfriend to get hurt 'cause I'm a "friend". Well, his advice was well heeded because I decided to play it safe and IV on bag-and I actually did get scared that the stuff was going to take me over the edge for a second. Also, the guy I go to the most now will even tell me what his shit is cut with because he knows I have asthma, and certain cuts can really compromise my breathing, even from doing a small amount.

my current skag connection happens to be a friend of mine, and he's always very upfront about the quality of his product. the last batch i scored off him was unusually strong, and he cautioned me a few times to be careful. when his product is shit, he tells me so. he's really a rarity in drug circles as he's honest, reliable and never rips you off and sometimes when i was in a bad way and broke has given me shit for free to get me through.

I never said heroin is a good drug or a safe drug, just said when compared to other 'hard' drugs like cocaine, crystal meth, alcohol, opioid pills, benzo/barb pills, GHB/GBL, etc...that is shouldn't be pushed aside like a black sheep when just about all of those are just as potentially deadly.

You make a good point. All of those drugs can be deadly (with benzos you would have to have a massive amount or mix with other drugs for it to be deadly), however the addiction propensity per individual will vary wildly.

I haven't tried GHB (despite being offered it three times by three separate people in the last 2 weeks) nor GBL, nor barbiturates, but heroin was the only drug I got severely addicted to in a psychological and physical sense. Cocaine and meth don't cause physical addictions but I never really struggled with these in the same way I did heroin (in terms of "I need it - every day" type way of living).

Some people are more prone to get way too into benzos, or alcohol.

I think that some of us are more sensitive to the rewarding/reinforcing effects of some hard drugs, compared to other people. I have actually met people who were like "I didn't like opiates" or "I absolutely hated methamphetamine"... and every time I hear someone say such things I remind them of how lucky they are.

Lol once my dealer gave me a lecture on how I shouldn't be using....

Total buzz kill and made me kind of depressed about wanting to use.

Awwww they must have really cared about you. A dealer with a heart... awww <3

i happen to be one of those people. i could always control my use of hard drugs, gabaergics though i always go completely apeshit with. i can't even say why, heroin is a billion times more pleasant than alcohol.

My connects have always been friends of mine, so they always tell me to be safe lol.

I feel terrible. The guy we used to see most often just got picked up for the umpteenth time, and he's just such a good dude, the type of dealer who would always tell you to be safe and who made it a point to keep his operation running smoothly where his customers could be in and out without any trouble from the police or anyone else.

My dealer would tell me I'm his angel from heaven (cause I was making him rich) good quitting motivation. . But no don't remember anyone telling me to watch out for myself maybe cause people don't inject here.

I had a dealer do that to me. We was sittin at the table passin the pizzzo n she was steady "honey u really don't need to b messin with this shit,*passes to me* look at your teeth they're so pretty & this shit will rot them outta your head n then they'll look like mine"
It felt good to know she cared, but at the same time i was thinkin 'i know the repurcussions, stop killin my buzz' lol
