Does your dealer tell you to "be safe"?

yes, they remind their customers to not get busted, so that they can keep making money off of them. They know that people make bad choices (yeah I got my drugs lets go do them in the car and drive home...) so they try to encourage them to make smart choices.

Yep. I routinely would get "watch yourself" or "hot out tonight, careful driving back" or even the occasional "be careful with these, shit's fire". Depending on which of my people it was, the last line was either just BS to push his/her product or a real warning.
I had one kid who would never say anything in that regard unless I got a bunch. Then he'd be like, "You know how much diesel you got there?" "You need to watch your shit."
Oh, thank you so much. I'm a complete fucking idiot and don't realize that 14 B's would put me in a pen for a bit. I'm gonna drive 80mph on the way back.
Again, depending on the person, they'd either seem to say it just because that was something they said, or they were trying to protect a daily source of income. Or, more rarely, I would have someone that actually seemed to care. For their own benefit as well as mine.

i always tell people to be safe. i dont want some kid overdosing on me, nah...no thanks....

I'm not a drug dealer, but when I have friends over, I always tell them to be safe, or to drive home safe. I don't want anyone getting hurt/injured on their way home. I always urge anyone to text/call/IM me after they've gotten home safely, just for my own personal peace of mind.

I remember after a MDMA drought up where I live my guy handed me the pills, patted my shoulder and said "Gonna be a hot one, don't forget to drink". Dealers don't want to be charged with any degree of murder.

I have to remind my dealer to be safe. He's really more of a middle man, but dude is cray. Always calling me to check imprints, interactions, side effects. I should be getting a deal!

Yeah occasionally my connects runner will say something along the lines of "be careful" before we split up just as a way of closing up the transaction. I'll always say "same to you man" and I'm gone. I really mean it when I say it so I'd like to hope the feeling is mutual.

If its someone I have known for awhile they usually say something along those lines, and I know they mean it.

If its someone I'm just meeting and they say something like that it usually means "don't fucking snitch if you get busted"

All the time. Be safe, or drive safe. Guy lives in the projects, so there's usually a cop car or two around the area.

Only the ones who cared, which is like no one. The only ones who did were people I knew for awhile and usually before dope.. well always before dope. I will never forget when my one dealer/family memeber said to never thank him. It wasn't something to be thankful about. But that's my heroin dealers.

All my other dealers don't say much along those lines because there is no need to... especially since they aren't drugs that kill people.

^Ugh, almost all illegal drugs can kill people, stop continuing to give heroin a bad name, it has a bad enough one as it is. BTW, I am not pro-heroin, I am pro-information. With the exception of cannabis, pretty much any other drug can kill or precipitate long-lasting or permanent mental conditions. Hell, might as well make sure the local bartender says to definitely NOT thank him/her, and NOT tip him/her while you're at it.

Yeah I dont think dude wants me to get arrested or OD. None of that type of shit bodes well for dealers. Anyone worth a damn would say dont get pulled over with that ridiculous amount of drugs. If your smack is stronger than usual, the dealer should tell you that too.

Lol once my dealer gave me a lecture on how I shouldn't be using....

Total buzz kill and made me kind of depressed about wanting to use.

Once when buying H from a dealer that dealt petty much everything he said "be safe." In my extreme naivety I said "yeah I wont get addicted." Or something like that. He responded with "No I hope you do get addicted, thats more money for me, I just don't want you dying and it coming back to me." I still don't know if I should have appreciated the honesty or seen him as slime. Anyway I stopped dealing with him not to long after that.

Back when I was getting dope yeah. This one time (some sketchiness involved) a dealer I knew got a huge amount of literally pure shit from Mexico, and I mean, pure in the truest sense of the word.

That was the one time I got warned, I was eating a half gram of oxy to get well at that point in my habit, and banging .2 of that shit had me absolutely rocked

He very clearly and repetitively told everyone that day "the fire warning" and yet right when I was about to leave some chick hit the floor hard, all pulp fiction and shit, luckily those were also the days I had my naloxone vial from the needle exchange

Yes, about 90% of the time someone -- myself or the dealer -- will say "be safe" or "get home safe" and I/he/she will respond "you too"... just as a general decency... I'll say that to friends as well. And if I ever do sell/trade someone stuff, I will definitely say "be safe" or "don't die" ... heh. I am genuine about it -- I don't want anyone to overdose or get arrested nor do I want that for myself. Some dealers who I've been seeing for a while seem to genuinely mean be safe... but it's also true that they don't want to catch a case because they sold you the drugs that killed you or whatever. /end ramble

Yeah. Hes a General Practitioner which makes him obligated to make me aware of potential hazards, side effects, possible interactions, etc.

Hes my man and does me a lot of great work :)
