Does cannabis inspire genius?

You'll even notice it to yourself when your listening or singing along to a song, that it sounds that much better and feels like your really connecting with the song.

Yeah, lmao the best thing you can hope for while high is for it to not inhibit your normal cognitive abilities.
 
Looks like none of us are of genius material then. What if you've smoked mj but never inhaled can you be a genius then ?? What if you are considered a genius and start smoking does that demote you to full time bum ??

I have a friend who considers himself a genius...well we always seems to have debates on drug issues, obviously because "he" considers himself a genius and a non drug user. I don't think he is..... It doesn't take a genius to know that drugs are part of our lives whether it's illegal drugs or legal drugs.

i hate bumping old threads but I just came upon this post and wanted to contribute.

If you are a "genius", trust me you will have a tough time truly explaining your thoughts to a "non-genius"; they simply will not be able to grasp the same info the way you can. Think of michael jordan trying to teach a non basketball player a fadeaway jumper: this ability comes natural to jordan (he's a genius with the game) yet for the other guy he will be completely out of his league - that's the best i can explain it at least.

I truly believe that marijuana can allow you to access parts of your brain that you could not when sober. Here's why, the thc and the canaboids basically act as a depolarizing force that allows the nuerotransmitters that have to do with thinking, etc to keep firing rather than just stop like they are supposed to. So basically it's as if your brain is in hyper speed, but the problem is it gets so focused on that one thing. Ever wonder why you can have the most extravagant thought while baked but at the same time could forget what you are even saying - your brain is focusing on that one thing and ignoring everything else. That's as good as i can explain it without saying anything wrong and also making it understandable.

So basically, marijuana allows you to do things you normally cannot do.

*everything i said is true btw, idc enough to prove it - if you want proof, find it yourself.
 
I believe cannabis use can cause abstract and "outside-the-box" thinking, which may in turn lead to certain insights and a more diverse understanding for some things, but everyone reacts differently. As far as it causing an "accurate" perspective, it's hard to say what exactly is accurate and what isn't, but I'd say probably not.
 
Check this out, it depends how you use it.

Think about what THC is. It's basically the "poison" in marijuana. Most poisonous plants say "Fuck off" "Don't touch me" "Don't eat my fruit" "I'll fuck up your skin" etc. Marijuana says "What's up mammals?"

And this message has been being refined for LONGER than humans have been around. Plants are more highly evolved than us. Examples: 1.Plants make their own food using a source that is millions of miles away 2. Plants are better at surviving disasters than us 3. Plants communicate on the same level your brain communicates, electro-chemically.

So what is happening when you smoke weed, is YOUR brains electro-chemical signals are being outshined by the electro-chemical signals that Marijuana has to offer. And whn these signals are inside your brain, you are basically "speaking to" or "seeing the world through the eyes of" marijuana. This phenomenon is known as Shiva to much of the world (Hindus and Buddhists are a large percent of the worlds population and a large population of Hindis and Buddhists worship the Temple of Shiva).

So you can take this gift and use it one of to ways. You can sit around all day saying "Dude. I'm SO high high right now." OR you can listen to the plant (your thoughts) as well as share them with others, and read some books or articles.

So Marijuana can bring about "Dude I'm so high." and make someone stupid over time, because they focus on nothing other than the fact that they are high all the time. Or it can bring about higher thinking and further education and in some instances maybe "genius".
